This year it will be a three – day long holiday across the States. Although for many years, the Union States of the North and the Confederate States of the South. The southern states celebrated it on May 10 or June 3. But with the WW2 brought a huge change, now May 30 is set for the Memorial Day.

The day is all flooded with public ceremonies, speeches and parades. It has become like just another festival for the Americans. Over the years the traditions will continue to be held, like the laying of wreath at the Tomb of the Unknowns in Arlington National Cemetery followed by parades and speeches.

In context to this, billionaire Elon Musk has tweeted, “In remembrance of those who fell to preserve the light of freedom”. A very emotional and connecting moment for all the US and even a bigger thing coming from the Tesla owner.
