Grok on X – To Read and Deliver the Best Content on User Feeds
This update which came from Elon Musk himself on X (received via Mario Nawfal) reveals that by next month, Grok will start going through the 100 million posts that are usually shared on X on a daily basis, and by understanding them, it will start to deliver posts to users on their feeds based on the ‘intrinsic quality’ of the content. The announcement was made as a comment/reply to a user on X who had complained stating that ‘growing on X still feels like a rabbit hole for small accounts’. With this latest upgrade, even content from small creators having lesser number of followers will be able to attain good reach, solely based on the content quality of the post.
From the side of X users, Grok will be delivering content on their feeds by analyzing the interests and vibe of the users, ensuring that only quality contents are being shared to them. Moreover, ‘hidden gems’ or valuable posts that often do not get the required attention will thus get noticed by people. Speaking more, Grok will not just be analyzing text posts, but also images and videos too, and this is made possible thanks to advanced AI that relies on a large number of GPUs.
In related news, the XChat standalone messaging app is said to soon have its launch, and it is being prepared as a strong competitor product to other such apps like WhatsApp. Also, recently, SpaceX introduced a new cheaper Starlink plan for its US customers at USD 40 per month.
