Airtel Xstream AirFiber 2 Black Colour Variant Might Launch Soon in India

Airtel, one of the leading network providers in India, launched its Xstream AirFiber early this month and now, the Xstream AirFiber 2 in black color has been spotted by a tipster alongside the 1st generation product. The device might soon be launched in India.

Here’s more about it.

Airtel Xstream AirFiber 2 Spotted

This update comes from the tipster, Abhishek Yadav, who has shared an image of the upcoming Airtel Xstream AirFiber 2 listed along with the already made available Xstream AirFiber.

Design-wise, the Xstream AirFiber 2 is very much different from its predecessor. From the front view image of the device, only the Airtel 5G branding is present at the bottom of the device with no other indicators, unlike the Xstream AirFiber which has indicators to show the internet network, cellular network, and connectivity at its front. As mentioned, the upcoming device has been spotted in Black color, in contrast to the Xstream AirFiber which, as of now, is only available in White color.

The tipster has also suggested that the device is to have its launch soon in the Indian market.

Apart from this little information, nothing much about the device is known and we’ll have to wait until more updates are revealed.

Speaking about Airtel’s Xstream AirFiber, the device has only been made available in the cities of Delhi and Mumbai and is to be made available soon throughout the country. The company has launched the device with the aim of extending and offering faster internet connectivity services to the regions where drawing optical fiber cables is difficult. Regarding the cost, customers will have to pay a refundable security amount of Rs. 2,500 along with a monthly payment of Rs. 799. With the half-yearly plan, customers will only have to pay Rs. 4,435 for six months. You may read more about the device here.

Just to add, Jio, one of Airtel’s strong competitors, will also be launching the Jio AirFiber next month, on the 19th of September 2023, and the announcement was made at RIL’s 46th AGM which was conducted very recently.
