Samsung Galaxy S21 is going to receive December 2022 security update as well

Samsung has rolled out the December 2022 security update for the Samsung Galaxy S21, S21 Plus, and S21 Ultra smartphones.

The users of the smartphones will be able to identify the December 2022 security update via PDA build versions G991BXXU5DVKF, G996BXXU5DVKF, and G998BXXU5DVKF in Galaxy S22, S21 Plus, and S21 Ultra respectively. As of now, the update has been rolled out for Switzerland which may be extended to other nations as well.

The Samsung Galaxy S21 Series received the new Android skin of Android 13 and One UI 5.0 Operating system last month. Now, as reported by SammyFans, the Samsung company has already updated the security patch to the Galaxy S22 series devices in Asia and Note 20 series in the United States.

The update is loaded with a bunch of new features with new visual effects and animations. It brings fixes for 93 security vulnerabilities found in Galaxy devices.

Samsung Galaxy S21 users can check and update the new software easily. Go to “System Settings” on your Galaxy device and scroll down to find the “Software update” tab. Click the tab which will be followed by the “Download and install” button. Install the update and enjoy your phone while being updated.
