Russia’s social network website Vkontakte hacked

Russia’s social network website Vkontakte has been hacked with real war data between Russia and Ukraine sent out to over its 12 million users. Users of VK have received messages from the social network’s official account informing them of the true casualties and impact of Russia’s war against Ukraine, according to screenshots posted online.

VK is a Saint Petersburg-based Russian online social media and social networking service. VK is available in a variety of languages, however, it is primarily utilised by Russian people.

Several Russian websites have since been under cyber attack. Anonymous has launched a full-scale cyberwar on Russia. They have given the name of the operation is OPRUSSIA.

Here is what the users of VK are getting in their inbox.

Today is the twenty-fifth day of Putin’s war with Ukraine. During this time, the Russian army turned many peaceful cities into ruins, destroyed more than 3,500 civilian infrastructure facilities. Tens of thousands of ordinary people were dropped, over 5 thousand, including more than 100 children, died. It is impossible to calculate the exact number of corpses. This criminal aggression must be stopped, and the perpetrators must be punished.
None of the assigned tasks of the “special operation” was completed, the Ukrainians rallied and in a single impulse rebuffed the aggressor. Hundreds of units of Russian military equipment were destroyed, tens of thousands of Russian soldiers were wounded. 560 were taken prisoner, and over 11 thousand were packed in Ukrainian soil. No one is in a hurry to pick up the bodies.
Motherland will leave you, son. Always.
The Russian economy has been destroyed. Ahead – default, isolation, poverty and hunger, in comparison with which the dashing 90s will seem like a fairy tale. Putin is cornered and will not retreat, for the sake of his goals he is ready to go to the end and unleash a nuclear war – a war in which there will be no winners.
If you do not stop the war now, tomorrow it will come to your house.
Every day go out to the squares of your cities, demand an end to the war, demand Putin’s resignation. Today, only the Russian people are able to prevent a global catastrophe.
Vkontakte has been hacked. All personal data, posts and correspondence of users were uploaded and transferred to the competent authorities. Any of your messages with the support of the Russian occupiers or the letter Z on the avatar can be interpreted as a crime that has no statute of limitations. Then you will be put on the international wanted list through Interpol and arrested in any country in the world. Think about your future and don’t become complicit in this madness.

Here is the Russian version of it
