OxygenOS 13.1.0.581 Update Started Being Rolled Out to the OnePlus 8T Smartphones: August 2023 Android Security Patch
The Chinese smartphone maker, OnePlus, has started to roll out the OxygenOS 13.1.0.581 update for its 8T smartphone. The update is bringing the August 2023 Android security patch.

OnePlus 8T OxygenOS 13.1.0.581 Update
The OxygenOS 13.1.0.581 update that is currently being rolled out, is for the Indian users of the OnePlus 8T smartphone, and on updating, the device will be updated with the firmware version of KB2001_13.1.0.581(EX01).
The update will only be integrating the device with the August 2023 Android security patch and won’t be having any bug fixes or improvements along with it.
This incremental OTA update will be adopting a new OTA version number and some of the OnePlus 8T smartphone users in India might have already received the update. A broader roll-out is planned to take place in a few days, after which, more users will be receiving the update.
OnePlus also encourages its users to submit their valuable feedback regarding the update. Users may submit it on the pop-up menu which appears after dialing “*#800#” on the Google Dialer. They can also submit it via the feedback form given on the respective update page or they may submit it as comments on the update thread.
