Exoplanet TOI-1452 b is astronomer’s best candidate for a possible ocean planet

According to recent reports by Astronomers, the TOI-1452 b exoplanet might possibly be an ocean planet. Astronomers are of the view that the planet’s low density might be a result of vast amounts of water presence on it, many times multiplied the amount of water on Earth.

The TOI-1452 b is one of the high potential candidate in astronomer’s venture to find an ocean planet till date.

TESS, the NASA’s space telescope that surveys the cosmos for exoplanets, recently detected this discussed water world while passing by one of its stars. Astronomers noticed a dip in the star’s brightness. This clued them into the existence of TOI-1452 b.

NASA mentions that if TOI-1452 b features an ocean, it would be quite deep. It would possibly make up 30 percent of TOI-1452 b’s mass.

The recent updates suggests that TOI-1452 b is a planet that would compel the astronomers for further research and investigation. To top that, astronomers now possess an extraordinary sleuth in space, the James Webb Space Telescope. This telescope possess instruments that are capable of peering in unprecedented detail into the atmospheres of exoplanets. This would facilitate astronomers to determine what constitutes these planets. Astronomers expect that the powerful instrument would revolutionize the present understanding of exoplanets of which the human world knows very little.
