Windows 11 November 2025 Security Update Released for Version 25H2, 24H2, and 23H2: Security Fixes and Improvements

Microsoft has now released the Windows 11 security update for November 2025. This latest update will be offered to versions 25H2, 24H2, and 23H2. As per the changelogs, certain security fixes and improvements are part of the update.

Windows 11 November 2025 Security Update for Version 25H2, 24H2, and 23H2 – Officially Released
The November 2025 Windows security update that is now being rolled out features both security fixes and improvements, and additionally also brings in non-security updates from the previous month’s optional preview release. For the versions 25H2 and 24H2, the update carries the firmware version number of ‘KB5068861’, and it addresses the battery drain issue that affected handheld gaming devices, inbuilt gamepad controller response and touch keyboard hiding issues, storage cluster issue when enabling Storage Spaces Direct, incomplete closing issue of Task Manager with the Close button, and Task View opening issue when selecting the Desktop. Furthermore, an issue with the HTTP.sys request parser has also been fixed, and the same is included in the ‘KB5068865’ update for the Windows 11 version 23H2.
There are no known issues with this Windows security update for November 2025, and users of the Windows 11 versions of 25H2, 24H2, and 23H2 will be able to download the respective update via the Windows and Microsoft release channels like Windows Update, Business, Catalog, and Server Update Services.
