Samsung Galaxy F23 5G Now Receiving August 2025 Security Patch Update

Samsung last month released the May 2025 security patch update; however, back in May, it had already released one, creating some confusion. Now it has released the August 2025 security patch update.

As per Samsung’s update policy for the Galaxy F23 5G, the device is scheduled to receive quarterly updates. Therefore, the August patch was expected this month, and it is now being delivered.

The update is rolling out in the India region with the version number E236BXXSBEYH1 / E236BODMBEYH1 / E236BXXSBEYH1 and brings the August 2025 security patch. It comes with One UI 6.1 based on Android 14 and has a total size of 695.33 MB.

In the changelog, Samsung only mentions the security patch and does not reveal any additional changes or features.

So far, we haven’t noticed any issues with this update after installing it on the device. Since the Galaxy F23 5G has already received two major OS upgrades (launched in 2022 with Android 12 and later updated to Android 14), it will only continue to receive security patch updates until 2026 as part of Samsung’s policy of two major OS upgrades and four years of security updates.
