Samsung expands the One UI 8.5 beta program to additional Galaxy devices in the global markets

Yesterday, we shared with you that Samsung has started rolling out the One UI 8.5 beta update for the Galaxy S23 series in Korea and India. And now Samsung has also officially confirmed that it has expanded the One UI 8.5 beta update to additional Galaxy devices.

Samsung expands One UI 8.5 Beta Program to additional Galaxy devices

Apart from the Galaxy S23 series, the program is now rolling out to Galaxy Z Fold 5 & Galaxy Z Flip 5 (Korea and US only), Galaxy S23 FE, and, for the first time on the A series, Galaxy A36 5G (India only). The beta update is said to be available in select markets, including India, Korea, the UK and the US, as part of a phased rollout.

Samsung is also introducing support for AirDrop through Quick Share on One UI 8.5 beta, enabling more seamless cross-platform file sharing for Galaxy users on select devices, including Galaxy S25 series, Galaxy S24 series, Galaxy Z Fold 7, Galaxy Z Flip 7, Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 6.

It is revealed that the beta program will continue to expand to additional Galaxy devices later this month. Interested users can register for this program via the Samsung Members App.

Previously, the March 2026 One UI 8.5 beta rollout brought support to the Galaxy S24 series, Galaxy Z Fold 6, Galaxy Z Flip 6, Galaxy S25 FE, Galaxy S24 FE and the Galaxy Tab S11 series.
