OxygenOS 16 stable rollout for OnePlus Pad announced with December 2025 Android security patch

After rolling out the stable OxygenOS 16 update based on Android 16 for the OnePlus Nord CE 4 and the Nord CE 4 Lite, OnePlus has now started rolling out the stable OxygenOS 16 update for the OnePlus Pad. As of now, the update is being pushed for users in the India region; however, OnePlus has also confirmed that the rollout for other regions will begin soon, though no specific timeline has been mentioned.

The stable OxygenOS 16 update for the OnePlus Pad is being rolled out with the firmware version IN: OPD2203_16.0.2.400(EX01) and brings the December 2025 Android Security Patch. As per the company, the complete rollout process may take around one to two weeks to reach all eligible users. Since this is the first day of the rollout, there is currently no user feedback available online regarding performance or stability.

Speaking more about the update availability, the OxygenOS 16 update will be delivered automatically via OTA. However, users can also manually check for the update by heading to Settings, scrolling down to Software Update, and following the on-screen instructions. If the update is available, it can be downloaded and installed right away; otherwise, users will need to wait for it to arrive on their device.
