OnePlus has officially announced the first update rollout of 2026, and it begins with the OnePlus Nord CE 4 smartphone. The device has started receiving the stable OxygenOS 16 update based on Android 16, making it the first OnePlus phone to get the new update.
As usual, the rollout has started first in the India region, with other regions expected to follow gradually. However, at the time of writing, OnePlus has not shared an official timeline for the rollout in other markets.
The update is being pushed with the firmware version IN: CPH2613_16.0.2.400(EX01). Since today marks the first day of the rollout, it may take one to two weeks for the update to reach all eligible users. While some users may have already started receiving the update, no major issues have been reported so far.
Users who encounter any bugs or issues after installing the update can report them directly by dialling *#800#, which opens OnePlus’ built-in feedback tool.
Furthermore, the update also includes the December 2025 Android security patch, improving overall system security and stability.
It is worth noting that the OnePlus Nord CE 4 was launched in April 2024 with Android 13 and was promised two major Android OS upgrades. With Android 16, the device has now received its final major OS update. That said, OnePlus will continue to provide security patch updates until April 2027, as the phone is eligible for three years of security updates.
