After OnePlus Nord CE 4, OnePlus rolls out stable OxygenOS 16 for OnePlus Nord CE 4 Lite
Just a few hours ago, we reported that OnePlus had started rolling out the stable OxygenOS 16 update based on Android 16 for the OnePlus Nord CE 4, making it the first OnePlus smartphone of 2026 to receive an update.
Now, the second device has joined the list. OnePlus has officially announced the rollout of OxygenOS 16 for the OnePlus Nord CE 4 Lite as well.
Similar to the Nord CE 4, the update is currently being rolled out exclusively in the Indian region, with other regions expected to follow soon. The update carries the version number CPH2619_16.0.1.301(EX01). Since the rollout has only just begun, it may take one to two weeks before it reaches all eligible users.
According to the changelog, the update brings slightly different changes compared to the Nord CE 4.
And just like the Nord CE 4, the OnePlus Nord CE 4 Lite was also promised two major Android OS updates and three years of Android security patches. With the arrival of Android 16, this marks the final major OS upgrade for the device. However, it will continue to receive security updates until June 2027 as per the update policy of this smarphone.
