OnePlus recently announced OxygenOS first AI feature, AI eraser. This feature allows users to remove unwanted elements from the pictures. Its AI eraser effortlessly cleans up the photos leaving behind nothing. In this article, we will see how to use this new AI feature and all things related to it.
Follow these steps to use the feature
- Select the picture you wish to edit in your album.
- Click “Edit > AI Eraser”.
- Choose between “Smart lasso” or “Paint over” to operate.
- “Smart lasso” allows you to easily draw a circle around the object, prompting the system to identify and remove it entirely.
- “Paint over” enables manual elimination of objects using an appropriate brush size, providing a natural and effortless way to enhance your photos.
This feature is available in Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, Vietnam, India, Mexico, and the Philippines. The company is working on rolling out the feature in other regions also. We have recently seen this feature rolled out with the update for OnePlus 12 and 12R users in India. This feature can be used up to 400 times per day, allowing for continuous operation for about 2 hours. In case you face a slowdown while using this feature, you need to check the network. And if the area of the image that you want to eliminate is too large consider erasing small areas one by one. If the object and shadow are also there, select the object and the shadow together manually so that it can be effectively eliminated.
