Apple iOS 16 update is not an ordinary update

Apple’s iOS 16 update has rolled out for all eligible iPhones. And it comes with some super cool features that will make users go crazy. The iOS 16 update not only brings a major new design change for the lock screen along with the changes to message all also.

Customized Lock screen

You might have changed your lock screen setting through screen editing interfaces. iOS 16 is much the same. This update allows you to experiment with your lock screen and save all previously made lock screens with the combination of widgets added and removed. Later on, you would not only be able to make a new one but also would be able to use the previous one.

By simply tapping on the screen you would be able to change the font to day and time style. With a gentle slide, the user can also change the lock screen wallpapers.

Photo suggestion

iOS 16 helps in suggesting the photo from your gallery that suits your library the best. This is no doubt the example of machine learning that enables the user to go with the best choice among different options available.

WidgetKit API

Third-party apps notification and updates sometimes look messy on screen. But Apple has come up with a super cool solution in the new update of iOS 16.

You can have a glance at third-party widgets. . View widgets in a textual, circular, or rectangular format near the time to get information like weather conditions or progress on your goals.

Focus when you want automatically

In the world of distraction, people find it hard to focus on important things for a longer duration. But Apple’s new feature allows users to set the time or location where the focus period will automatically enable itself and refrain from showing any notification from not-so-useful applications.

Allow and silence list

While focusing on some notifications is worth your focus and some aren’t. But the problem is how you would be able to distinguish between them. The solution is in the update where you can allow a few apps to send notifications and some do not.

New message feature

The ability to edit and ‘unsend’ messages

“Embarrassing typos are a thing of the past,” Craig Federighi, Apple’s senior vice president of software engineering, said at WWDC as he introduced three of the most requested features for the Messages app.

First, in iOS 16 you’ll be able to edit sent messages. So if you notice an error after sending the message, you’ll be able to edit the message after the fact. A tiny “edited” appears in the status under the message.

Next and the coolest new feature, you can immediately recall the sent message.

If you accidentally send an unfinished message, you can use the Undo Send tool to prevent it from being read and hopefully look less chaotic to your friends and family.

Last but not least that you can mark the unread message that you opened mistakenly.

Visual feature.

iOS 15, Visual Look Up analyses your photo to identify different objects like plants, pets, and many more. But it won’t be wrong to say that iOS 16 has got a magical feature of ‘Lift the Image’ where you would be able to remove an image from its background and send it to someone in different ways.

That image can be saved too for the future.

Overall it won’t be wrong to say that every update that Apple brings don’t  leave a chance to shock the users and evoke the love and curiosity for Apple technology.
