Here is how you can access the Beta version of Hill Hold Assist in Ola Electric Scooter

A Twitter user has shared a way to trick the Ola electric scooter for the Hill Hold feature. This is one of the features that riders have been looking for for a long time as it is related to the safety of riders. When one of the Twitter usernames Woof Woof asked Bhavish Agarwal the CEO of Ola “Hey can you please make hill hold assist a basic feature in all models?

It really is difficult to drive it around inclines or steep hills. Can Ola Electric do this in good faith and for the safety of your customers” Ola Electric wrote in response that it is in the Beta phase and will soon be rolled out in phase.

But the Twitter user Fasil seems to have come up with a trick that can enable you to access the beta version of this feature. If you will see at the screen of your Ola scooter you will find Coming Soon written on the Hill Hold feature but Fasil did something tricky to enable the feature.

He opened the map on the screen of his Ola scooter and set the final destination as Ladakh from his current position.. He tapped on the Start option and went back to the same place where the Hill Hold feature was showing Coming Soon written on it.

But this time it was not showing the same because its beta version was enabled in his Ola electric scooter. Does this mean it is a way to access the beta version of this feature or is it just a software bug? Fasil, sharing the video of this process, wrote “How to activate Hill Hold Ola Simple process. You can search ola map 2000 Km above the distance place name. Ladakh Kashmir

It’s a software bug rectify asap”.

It can be a software bug or a trick to get early access to the beta version. We will make sure to bring out the updates regarding this feature till then why don’t you give this trick a try?
