BSNL to soon launch BSNL Pay powered by BHIM UPI on its Selfcare App

Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has been introducing new services and plans in order to enhance the customer experience. And now the telecom operator will soon be launching its own UPI service called BSNL Pay.

BSNL Pay is powered by BHIM UPI, and rather than being available as a standalone app, this facility will be integrated within BSNL’s Selfcare app. With this upcoming facility, you will be able to recharge your mobile, pay bills, book fiber connections & transfer money seamlessly within the app. The exact launch date is yet to be revealed by the company, though it is rumored that the service could launch by Diwali 2025.
Currently, apps like Google Pay, Paytm, and PhonePe are widely used for making UPI payments, and now BSNL Pay will add as another option for the consumers. Not many details related to BSNL Pay are revealed for now, but we may come across more information in the future.
If we talk about BSNL 5G, well, the telecom operator is still way behind when compared to companies like Jio, Airtel, and Vi in spreading its 5G services. It was previously announced that BSNL has officially named its upcoming 5G services as BSNL Q-5G – Quantum 5G. BSNL Q-5G offering is currently limited to enterprise use and not intended for regular mobile consumers.
