WhatsApp can now be used on Ray-Ban Meta glasses in Brazil

Last month, Meta officially unveiled its Ray-Ban Display Glasses in the US market. This wearable arrives with support for various social media platforms like WhatsApp, Messenger, and Instagram. Users can privately view text and multimedia messages and can also take video calls from WhatsApp and Messenger.

Well, the WhatsApp compatibility has now expanded to Ray-Ban Meta Glasses as well.

Users in Brazil can now use WhatsApp with Ray-Ban Meta glasses.

You can use hands-free voice commands to send and reply to messages and to decline and answer calls. You can also use it to share photos. Voice commands can also announce when you receive messages and read them out loud in English, French, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese, and German.

To activate voice commands, just say Hey Meta and speak your command. You can also share your view from your glasses camera during a WhatsApp video call by double-tapping the physical capture button on your glasses during a call. You can use this feature even if you haven’t linked WhatsApp in the Meta AI app. To enable sharing your view, tap the lasses icon during your next video call for instructions.

Users can also use Meta Assistant to announce who’s messaging you and to read out your messages.

About privacy concerns, it is revealed that when you use AI lasses, your calls and personal messages are secured with end-to-end encryption.
