Ray-Ban Meta Gen 1 Smart Glasses Launching in India on 21st November via Amazon, Flipkart and Reliance Digital

Back in May 2025, Ray-Ban Meta Gen 1 glasses made their debut in India with the launch of Skyler and Wayfarer smart glasses. These were initially available only via the Ray-Ban India official website and select optical retailers nationwide. Now, Ray-Ban Meta Gen 1 glasses will be available for purchase starting 21 November at 12 PM via Amazon, Flipkart, and Reliance Digital as well.

Starting 6 November, users can sign up for “Notify Me” alerts on these platforms to get early availability updates for the Ray-Ban Meta Skyler and Wayfarer models.

Ray-Ban Meta Skyler and Wayfarer: Features and pricing

Ray-Ban Meta Skyler and Wayfarer smart glasses can capture photos and record videos for up to 3 minutes through an ultra-wide 12MP camera and a 5-mic system. Users can import the photos and videos to their smartphones using the Meta View app. Pressing the Capture Button on the side of the frame triggers photo/video capture.

The glasses include a touchpad to control playback, volume, and music app functions. They feature open-ear speakers and a power switch on the left inner arm. The included charging case provides up to 32 hours of additional charging support.

With Meta AI built in, users can ask questions, set reminders, translate live, scan QR codes, or get assistance hands-free. In India, Meta AI now supports Hindi interaction and includes the Deepika Padukone celebrity AI voice. The new “Restyle” feature enables users to say “Hey Meta, restyle this” to modify photos with different themes. Meta will also begin testing UPI Lite payments soon, allowing transactions under ₹1,000 by looking at a QR code and saying “Hey Meta, scan and pay”.
