Xiaomi 16 Series Pre-Booking Opens in China: Reports Suggest Possible Launch This Month in September 2025

The Chinese leading smartphone maker – Xiaomi has now announced the arrival of its next flagship series and its pre-booking has now been opened in China. As part of the pre-booking, the brand has also announced four gifts too for its customers.

Xiaomi 16 Series – Pre-Booking Now Open in China

As mentioned, Xiaomi’s 16 series pre-booking has now been made live in the Chinese market as part of the ‘Xiaomi Flagship Series New Product Launch Blind Date’, and customers can book the upcoming devices by paying a cash deposit of CNY 100. Additionally, four generous gifts which include free luxury gift package, interest-free installment, high subsidies, and other exclusive offers are also part of it and customers pre-booking the Xiaomi 16 series can enjoy these added benefits.

Apart from the above details, the brand hasn’t announced anything more concerning its next flagship series, however new updates can be expected soon in the coming days. To add, as per reports, three smartphone models are said to launch under the Xiaomi 16 series initially and they will be followed by a fourth smartphone model early next year. Xiaomi 16, Xiaomi 16 Pro, and Xiaomi 16 Pro Mini (~ few other reports claim it to be the Xiaomi 16 Pro Max) are believed to break their cover this month in September 2025, whereas the Xiaomi 16 Ultra launch could only be taking place in 2026 as mentioned.

In related news, three Xiaomi smartphone models were certified by the 3C authority last month, and 100W wired fast charging is confirmed for two of them. Also, the Xiaomi 16 series is reportedly going to be the first to feature Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 chip, and specs such as HyperOS 3, 6.3″ display, 50MP triple rear camera system, and 6800 mAh battery were tipped for the standard Xiaomi 16 device.

Furthermore, the Snapdragon Summit 2025 is scheduled to take place this month from the 23rd to the 24th of September 2025, and reports suggests that the Xiaomi 16 series launch time frame could be around the same time – in between 24th ~ 26th September 2025.
