Vivo X200T India Launch Confirmed for January 27th, Purple Colour Option Revealed
The rumours have turned out to be true, as the Vivo X200T is officially set to launch in the Indian market later this month. Flipkart’s microsite has now revealed the confirmed launch date, with the Vivo X200T scheduled to debut in India on January 27th, 2026.
The launch poster not only confirms the date but also highlights the phone’s design, showcasing a circular rear camera module surrounded by a metallic ring and prominent ZEISS branding. This once again confirms Vivo’s continued partnership with ZEISS, along with the inclusion of ZEISS Optics with T* coating, which helps reduce glare and unwanted reflections. The latest poster also reveals the purple colour option, while tipster Abhishek Yadav claims that the device will also be available in a black colour variant.
Beyond the official details, tipster Abhishek Yadav had earlier shared the phone’s pricing and specifications. According to him, the Vivo X200T will arrive in two variants: 12GB + 256GB and 12GB + 512GB. The 12GB + 256GB model is tipped to be priced at ₹59,999, while the 12GB + 512GB variant could cost ₹69,999. However, it remains unclear whether these prices reflect the official launch pricing or if they are subject to bank offers and discounts.
The same tipster had also revealed the complete specifications of the Indian variant. The Vivo X200T is said to feature a 6.67″ 1.5K AMOLED display and could be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9400+ chipset, paired with LPDDR5X Ultra RAM and UFS 4.1 storage. It is expected to run Android 16 out of the box and may receive up to five Android OS updates along with seven years of security patches.
In terms of cameras, the device is tipped to feature a triple rear camera setup consisting of a 50MP Sony LYT-702 primary sensor with OIS, a 50MP Samsung JN1 ultra-wide camera, and a 50MP Sony LYT-600 periscope telephoto lens. On the front, it could house a 32MP selfie camera.
Other expected features include Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, eSIM support, a USB Type-C port, a 3D ultrasonic in-display fingerprint scanner, and a large 6,200mAh battery with support for 90W wired and 40W wireless charging. The smartphone is also said to offer IP68/IP69-rated dust and water resistance.
Looking at the specs, it seems more like a rebranded Vivo X200s, which was launched last year in China. However, the specs have not yet been revealed officially, but now that the launch date has been confirmed, more details will soon be revealed officially.
