POCO F8 series officially confirmed to launch in the global market on 26th November

POCO Hong Kong has been teasing the launch of a new smartphone in the country lately, and though the company did not reveal the moniker of the upcoming device, it was assumed that the teaser could be related to the long-time rumored POCO F8 series.

Today, POCO Global has officially announced that the POCO F8 series will be launching globally on 26th November. The global launch event will take place in Bali, Indonesia, at 16:00 GMT+8.

Reportedly, the upcoming series will include POCO F8 Pro and POCO F8 Ultra models, and it is said that the devices will be the rebranded versions of Redmi K90 and Redmi K90 Pro Max, respectively, which recently launched in China. Though it is said that the POCO F8 Pro and POCO F8 Ultra models will pack comparatively smaller batteries than the Redmi K90 and K90 Pro Max smartphones.

The Poco F8 Pro (2510DPC44G) and F8 Ultra (25102PCBEG) devices have already made their appearance on various certification websites. Recently, the devices were spotted on the Geekbench database, which revealed that the POCO F8 Pro runs on the Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC and the POCO F8 Ultra runs on the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 SoC. Both models were spotted with Android 16 OS and a 16GB RAM option.
