OPPO’s Latest Mid-Range Smartphone, the OPPO A1 5G Makes its First Appearance in China
OPPO’s latest smartphone, the OPPO A1 5G debuts on China Telecom Website. The device will be available in two storage variants with a starting price of CNY 2,099.

OPPO A1 5G Makes its Debut in China
The OPPO A1 5G has just appeared on China Telecom Website and is the latest mid-range smartphone from OPPO. The smartphone comes equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 695(8nm) chipset which has a primary clock speed of 2.2 GHz. Speaking of its architecture, it is an octa-core processor with 2 cores operating at a speed of 2.2 GHz along with 6 Kryo 560 cores having a 1.8GHz clock speed.
The device also operates on the latest Android 13-based ColorOS 13 custom user interface and will have two storage variants. The device will be available in two RAM options of 8GB and 12GB along with an internal storage of 256GB.
Speaking about its size, the smartphone has a dimension of 165.6×76.1×8.25 mm and weighs only 193 grams. It also features a full HD+ LCD display with a screen size of 6.72 inches and will have a screen resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels. The smartphone also has a refresh rate of 90Hz as well.
On its rear, the smartphone has two camera rings of which the first one houses the main camera, and the second features the secondary camera and the LED flash. Yes, the smartphone has a dual camera setup on its rear with a 50MP main camera and a 2MP depth camera. For selfies, the smartphone also brings a front-facing camera of 8MP.
The device is backed by a 5000 mAh battery which is capable of offering a decent battery life to its users. It also has a USB type-C charging port.
Now speaking about its other features, the smartphone has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and supports 5G SA/NSA, dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac with dual-band support, Bluetooth of version 5.3, and GPS.
The OPPO A1 5G starts at a price of CNY 2,099 (about $305) for its 8GB/256GB storage variant whereas the 12GB/256GB variant will be priced at CNY 2,299 (about $334). The smartphone will also be available in three color choices – Cabernet Orange, Ocean Blue, and Sandstone Black.
