Oppo officially announces the global debut of Oppo Find X9 Ultra; Coming later this year

Previous reports revealed that the Chinese manufacturer Oppo may introduce its Oppo Find X9 Ultra smartphone after the Chinese Spring Festival (said to conclude in the first week of March) in the Chinese market.

Today, Oppo officially announced that Oppo Find X9 Ultra will make its debut globally later this year (after the China launch). And this will be the first time that an Oppo Ultra smartphone will expand beyond China.

Speaking at Oppo’s media event in Barcelona, Elvis Zhou, CEO of Oppo Europe, said, “Positioned as ‘Built to Be Your Next Camera,’ the Find X9 Ultra is designed to deliver professional-grade imaging performance in a flagship smartphone form factor. In 2026, many devices will carry the ‘Ultra’ label. We believe the title must be earned. With Find X9 Ultra, we are setting a new benchmark for mobile imaging.”

This upcoming Ultra model is said to integrate the most advanced imaging system Oppo has ever developed for a smartphone. The device combines next-generation optical engineering, designed to push mobile photography to a new level. The imaging system is co-developed with Hasselblad.

A previous report suggested that the Oppo Find X9 Ultra may arrive with a Sony LYT-901 image sensor. The upcoming Vivo X300 Ultra is also rumoured to arrive with this sensor. Vivo has also recently confirmed that the Vivo X300 Ultra will be launching in the global markets.
