OnePlus has been teasing the specifications of the OnePlus Turbo 6 series as its launch date of January 8th, 2026, draws closer. The company has now officially confirmed several key display specifications of the OnePlus Turbo 6.

Here is more to it.

OnePlus Turbo 6 Display Specs Revealed

OnePlus has officially revealed key display details of the OnePlus Turbo 6 via Weibo, confirming that the smartphone will feature a 165Hz ultra-high refresh rate gaming display, branded as the “Oriental Screen.” According to the company, this makes it the only display in its segment to offer a 165Hz refresh rate sourced from BOE, positioning it as a flagship-grade panel within the Turbo series. (Notably, the OnePlus 15 also features a 165Hz BOE display.) OnePlus states that the screen delivers smoother visuals, higher clarity, and display performance that surpasses several mainstream flagship smartphones. The panel supports 1.07 billion colours with 10.7-bit colour depth, covers 100% of the DCI-P3 colour gamut, and extends up to 102.2% P3 colour coverage. It also offers a global peak brightness of up to 1,800 nits, while maintaining high colour accuracy with an average ΔJNCD value of around 0.3.

The company has also emphasised eye-care improvements on the OnePlus Turbo 6 display, highlighting a medical-grade eye protection solution co-developed with display and eye-care institutions. Official details confirm support for low-brightness eye protection, low flicker, and reduced blue light, along with 3,840Hz high-frequency PWM dimming at low brightness and DC-like dimming at higher brightness levels. A new night mode has been introduced to minimise flicker in dark environments, while hardware-level low blue light technology is designed to reduce eye strain during prolonged usage. OnePlus further revealed that the panel has received SGS certifications for low blue light and low flicker performance.

In addition, OnePlus confirmed several self-developed display interaction technologies for the Turbo 6, including Sunlight Display for improved outdoor visibility, Glove Touch for accurate input in cold conditions, and Rain Touch for reliable touch response when the screen is wet. The company also claims efficiency improvements, stating that the new panel delivers around 10% lower power consumption and up to a 30% improvement in panel lifespan. HDR support includes ProXDR and HDR Vivid, further enhancing contrast and dynamic range.
