Nubia Z80 Ultra and RedMagic 11 Pro Series Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5-Powered Flagships Teased in China: Launching Next Month in October 2025

Followed by other Chinese smartphone brands, Nubia and its gaming subsidiary – RedMagic have also now announced their Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5-powered flagships and these are scheduled to break their cover next month in China.

Nubia Z80 Ultra – Launching in October 2025
The Nubia Z80 Ultra as always will most likely be a performance-oriented camera flagship and it has been teased with the tagline – ‘A super powerful flagship’. Also, thanks to the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset that will be used within the upcoming flagship, it will be capable of delivering a ‘ridiculously strong performance’. As mentioned, its launch in China is set to take place next month in October 2025.
RedMagic 11 Pro Series – Launching in October 2025
The RedMagic 11 Pro series has also been teased to have its launch next month in October 2025, and the upcoming flagships that will be unveiled under it are also going to hit the Chinese market equipped with the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip onboard. Unlike the Nubia Z80 Ultra, the RedMagic 11 Pro series smartphones will be gaming-focused e-sports flagships.

Speaking of a few other related updates, Xiaomi’s 17 series flagships (Xiaomi 17, Xiaomi 17 Pro, Xiaomi 17 Pro Max) were just recently debuted in the Chinese market featuring the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset. The OnePlus 15, iQOO 15, possible Vivo X300 Ultra, Honor Magic 8 series, Honor MagicPad 3 Pro, and Realme GT 8 Pro launch have also been teased, and these flagships will also be arriving with the mentioned Qualcomm flagship chip. Additionally, OnePlus has also teased its Snapdragon 8 Gen 5-powered smartphone too in China, and this device is believed to be the next OnePlus Ace 6 (which is likely to hit global markets later as the OnePlus 15R).
