iQOO 15R India launch date confirmed for 24th February: Here’s what we know so far

iQOO, the Vivo sub-brand, has officially confirmed the launch date of its upcoming smartphone iQOO 15R for the Indian market. The device will be launched on 24th February 2026. Along with the launch date, the brand has already teased the design of the phone, though no specifications have been officially shared yet. Additionally, the microsite for the iQOO 15R is already live on Amazon India and the iQOO official India website, confirming that the smartphone will be launched online via these platforms.

iQOO 15R – What to expect

The design teased earlier shows clear similarities with the iQOO Z11 Turbo, which was recently launched in China. The camera layout and overall rear panel styling appear closely matched between the two devices. In addition to the design tease, the iQOO 15R was also spotted on Geekbench earlier. The listing suggested that the prototype device was running the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 SoC, paired with 8GB RAM and Android 16.

Interestingly, both the design and the chipset mentioned in the benchmark listing align with what is offered on the iQOO Z11 Turbo. This rather increases the possibility that the iQOO 15R could be a rebranded version of the Chinese model for the Indian market.

Before appearing on Geekbench, the device had already surfaced across multiple certification platforms. It was first spotted on Bluetooth SIG, followed by listings on SERIM, EEC, Indonesia’s SDPPI, and India’s BIS certification database. The BIS listing had already hinted at an India launch, which has now been officially confirmed by the brand.

As of now, iQOO has not revealed any official specifications or features of the iQOO 15R. More details are expected to be shared in the coming days. If the device does turn out to be a rebranded iQOO Z11 Turbo, it is likely to carry the same specifications, but this can only be confirmed once iQOO officially reveals the specs.
