Honor X9d 5G Powered by Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 Officially Unveiled in Malaysia as a Tweaked Version of the China-Launched Honor X70: Pre-Order Now Live
Honor’s X9d 5G smartphone has now been officially unveiled in the Malaysian market and it is introduced as a tweaked version of the Honor X70 device that was launched in China back in July 2025. The pre-order for the latest smartphone device has also been made live for Malaysian customers.

Honor X9d 5G – Officially Unveiled in Malaysia
The Honor X9d 5G that has been introduced in Malaysia is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 chipset, and it is integrated with the Adreno 810 GPU. On the software side, it runs on the Android 15-based MagicOS 9.0 custom skin and two storage options are available for the device: 12GB/256GB and 12GB/512GB. To note, with the 12GB Honor RAM Turbo feature, the total RAM can also be expanded to up to 24GB (12GB inbuilt + 12GB virtual).
For its display, an AMOLED panel with a screen size of 6.79″ has been featured. Moreover, the display supports 100% DCI-P3 color gamut, 1.07 billion colors, 2640 x 1200 pixels resolution, 800 nits (typical)/1800 nits (HBM)/6000 nits (APL type) brightness rate, and eye comfort technology (eye comfort/circadian night display/dynamic dimming/3840Hz ultra-high frequency). Also, the screen glass material used is aluminosilicate glass.
Coming to its cameras, a 108MP dual rear camera system is given, and it supports 4K video shooting, 10x digital zoom, OIS stabilization, and 12000 x 9000 pixels image/3840 x 2160 pixels video resolution. There is also a 16MP front-facing camera too on the device and it is equipped within the punch-hole centrally-placed camera unit on the display.
Regarding its battery specs, a massive 8300 mAh battery backup is packed inside the device, and it supports up to 66W wired fast charging. Additionally, a reverse wired charging feature is also supported on this smartphone device.
Its other key specs include 5G/4G/3G/2G network connectivity, WiFi 6 with 2.4GHz + 5GHz dual band support, Bluetooth 5.2, USB Type-C 2.0, OTG, earjack (USB Type-C), GPS (and other location positioning services), NFC, stereo speakers, Honor Sound 7.3, IP66/IP68/IP69/IP69K-rated dust and water protection, SGS drop-water-dust triple resistance certification, bulletproof-inspired shock-absorption framework, AI tools (AI Eraser, AI Cutout, AI Upscale), 7.76mm thickness, and 193gm weight.
Four color choices are also being offered for the device, and it includes Reddish Brown, Forest Green, Sunrise Gold, and Midnight Black.
About its pricing details, the 12GB(+12GB)/256GB and 12GB(+12GB)/512GB storage variants of the Honor X9d 5G smartphone are respectively priced at MYR 1,499 and MYR 1,699 respectively. Its pre-order as mentioned is live, from the 24th of September 2025 to the 9th of October 2025, and it can be pre-ordered on the brand’s official website and also via few other shopping partners (like Lazada, Shopee, Harvey Norman, Senheng, senQ, UR, maxis, and TikTok Shop).
