Srikanth Kidambi is the most successful Indian badminton player. He got his training from Gopichand Badminton Academy situated in Hyderabad. He became the 1st Indian badminton player to enter in final of the Badminton World Championship and the 3rd one to enter in semi-finals. In 2021, he got a silver medal in BWC. Also, he was awarded the Arjuna award in 2015 and the Padma Shri ent in 2018.

- In 2014 – Runner up in the Lucknow event, a quarterfinalist in Malaysia reached in semi-finals of the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow. Also, he became the first Indian to get Superseries premier men’s title.
- In 2015 – Won the gold medal at Swiss Open Grand and also, he achieved India Open Super Series title.
- In 2016 – Reached the semifinal in Malaysia, won Syed Modi International Badminton Championships. Also, he won 2 gold medals in South Asian Games.
- In 2017 – Kidambi entered in finals of a ranking event in Badminton. He won Indonesia superseries and sets a record for entering in super series finals three times consecutive. He won the title in Denmark. Following four victories in the super series, he reached the ranking of 2.
- In 2018 – He achieved the world’s number 1 ranking for a week after winning a gold medal in the mixed team and silver in the singles event.
- In 2019 – Won a gold medal in South Asian Games in Nepal.
- In 2021 – He won a silver medal in Badminton world championship.
