The Xiaomi 17T series smartphones are expected to launch soon, as both the Xiaomi 17T and Xiaomi 17T Pro devices have been appearing on multiple certification platforms for some time. Now, the global variant of the Xiaomi 17T has once again been spotted, this time on the Geekbench database, revealing a few of its performance-related details.

As per the Geekbench AI listing, a smartphone bearing the model number ‘2602DPT53G’ has now appeared, and while the moniker has not been mentioned, previous listings confirm it to be the upcoming Xiaomi 17T. Speaking of the revealed details, the device was running on the Android 16 operating system at the time of testing and is listed with 12GB of RAM. The listing further points out an octa-core processor featuring a single prime core clocked at 3.40GHz, three performance cores at 3.20GHz, and four efficiency cores clocked at 2.20GHz. Additionally, the Mali-G720 MC8 GPU has been revealed via the source code, and based on the core architecture and GPU, it is suggested to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8500 chipset. In terms of performance, the device has achieved scores of 777 in single precision, 858 in half precision, and 1160 in quantized tests.

Looking into previous updates, the Indian variant of the Xiaomi 17T was earlier spotted on the BIS certification platform, while its global variant has also made its appearance on Singapore’s IMDA certification database. Speaking more about its expected specifications, details from the HyperOS codebase suggest that the device may feature camera specifications similar to its predecessor, the Xiaomi 15T. Furthermore, the FCC certification listing revealed that the device could pack a 6360mAh battery (likely to be marketed as 6500mAh) and support 100W wired fast charging, along with OTG-based USB reverse charging. Other revealed features include WCDMA / GSM / LTE / 5G NR network support, WiFi 6E, Bluetooth (BR + EDR + LE), NFC, and GNSS (GPS). The same FCC listing also points out that the device will run on HyperOS 3 based on the Android 16 operating system, and two memory variants – 12GB/256GB and 12GB/512GB – were listed.

With the notification number “KZ0000013464”, an Infinix-branded tablet, the ‘XPAD 30 Pro’, has appeared on the EEC certification platform with the model number “X1103B”. As per the certification listing, the date of notification registration is mentioned as the 18th of April 2026, while its validity extends until the 31st of December 2035.

Sadly, this certification does not reveal any specifications of this upcoming tablet from Infinix, but it does confirm that the device will be launching in the European market.

Looking into the past, the Infinix XPAD 20 Pro, which is its predecessor, was launched in September of last year. But as this new device has appeared on the EEC certification platform, this suggests that the XPAD 30 Pro might launch early.

Realme recently released two new smartphones under the C100 series – the C100 5G and C100i 4G – in the Thailand market. Rumours now suggest that a third member will likely join the series in a different market, as the upcoming Realme C100X has officially cleared the Indian BIS certification.

A new smartphone under the Realme branding has appeared on the BIS certification platform with the R-number “R-93005924” and the model number “RMX5366”. The certification was granted on April 16, 2026. While the official listing does not reveal the moniker, past reports indicate this model number belongs to the Realme C100X.

As reported earlier by 91mobiles Hindi, the device carries the model number “RMX5366”, which is the same as the one spotted on the BIS certification. Furthermore, the report claims that a single 4GB RAM variant with two internal storage options – 64GB and 128GB – will be offered for this device in India. Adding more to this, Golden Coast and Deep Blue Tides are expected to be the colour variants it will come in.

While the report from the publication does not mention anything about whether it is a 4G or 5G variant, some indications point towards it being a 4G device. Whatever the case may be, once its Geekbench listing appears, the doubt surrounding it will likely be cleared.

With it now being spotted on BIS, we can expect a launch announcement soon from the brand.

The upcoming Realme 16T 5G smartphone and the Realme Watch S5 have now been spotted on the Malaysian SIRIM certification platform, suggesting that their launch in the Malaysian market could be nearing.

The model number “RMX5268”, carrying the moniker “Realme 16T 5G”, has now appeared on the Malaysian SIRIM certification website, which reveals that the device was approved on the platform on the 22nd of April 2026 with the type approval code of “RGQL/87K/0426/S(26-1922)”. Tagging along with it is the Realme Watch S5, which has also appeared on the same certification platform with the model number “RMW2502”. It was added earlier on the 16th of April 2026 with the type approval code of “RDCX/90M/0426/S(26-1869)”. While the platform does not reveal any of their key specifications, it does confirm that both devices are expected to launch soon in the Malaysian market.

Prior to this certification, both devices had also appeared on several other certification platforms, while some of the specifications of the Realme 16T 5G had already been tipped. As per a tip shared by Abhishek Yadav, the smartphone is expected to arrive in three memory variants – 6GB/128GB, 8GB/128GB, and 8GB/256GB – along with three colour options of Starlight Red, Starlight Black, and Aurora Green in India. While the tipster had earlier suggested its India launch, the same has also been confirmed as the model number “RMX5268” was spotted on the Indian BIS certification platform as well.

Moving on to the Realme Watch S5, it was also spotted on the Indonesian SDPPI certification platform with the same model number. Similar to SIRIM, this listing does not reveal any specifications, but it does suggest that the smartwatch could also launch in the Indonesian market.

As for the launch of these two devices, an exact timeline cannot be confirmed at this point, but it is expected to happen soon. There is also a possibility that Realme may introduce both devices together in certain markets. However, since there is still no official confirmation from the brand, it would be better to wait for an announcement.

The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) yesterday informed that it has, vide order dated April 24, 2026, cancelled the banking license issued to Paytm Payments Bank Limited under Section 22(4) of the Banking Regulation Act, 1949 (‘BR Act’), effective from the close of business on April 24, 2026.

The Paytm Payments Bank is prohibited from conducting the business of ‘banking’ or any additional business under Section 6 of the Banking Regulation Act, 1949, with immediate effect.

The license is cancelled as:

• The affairs of the bank were conducted in a manner detrimental to the interest of the bank and its depositors.
• The general character of the management of the bank is prejudicial to the interest of depositors as also the public interest.
• No useful purpose or public interest would be served by allowing the bank to continue
• The bank failed to comply with the conditions stipulated in the Payments Bank license issued to it.

In March 2022, the Paytm Payments Bank Limited was stopped from onboarding new customers, and in 2024, certain business restrictions were also imposed on the bank, which disallowed any further deposits/ credits/ top-ups in existing customer accounts, prepaid instruments, wallets, etc.

According to the RBI, Paytm Payments Bank Limited (PPBL) has enough liquidity to repay its entire deposit liability upon winding up of the bank.

Just after this order, Paytm has clarified that the above regulatory action has no financial or business impact on Paytm (One 97 Communications Ltd).

Paytm has already impaired its investment in PPBL, as of 31^st March, 2024. Paytm (One 97 Communications Limited) and its services will continue to operate uninterrupted. These include the Paytm app, Paytm UPI, Paytm Gold and all other services offered by its subsidiaries and associated companies, such as Paytm QR, Paytm Soundbox, Paytm card machines, Paytm Payment Gateway, Paytm Money, among others.

Paytm has specifically pointed out to all its stakeholders that the above regulatory act is related to PPBL, and any reference to this matter should be made solely in the context of PPBL, and not attributed to the company.

The HMD Vibe 2 5G smartphone will be launching next month in the Indian market via Flipkart.

The company has teased the front side of the device that features a punch-hole cutout for the selfie camera and slightly rounded corners. HMD is expected to soon start teasing the other key details of this upcoming device via its Flipkart microsite.
