Nothing once again becomes the fastest growing smartphone brand in India with 146% YoY growth in Q2, 2025

Back in Q1, 2025, Nothing was announced as the fastest growing brand in India with 156% YoY growth, and now, as per the latest Counterpoint Research report, the brand has retained its position as the fastest growing smartphone brand in India in Q2, 2025 as well. Nothing, CEO Carl Pei has shared this big update on the X platform.

This is a huge achievement for the brand as the company has been India’s fastest-growing smartphone brand for six consecutive quarters. It is said that Nothing is the first smartphone brand ever to achieve this, 6 quarters of industry-leading growth. Reportedly, this increase was driven by the newly launched CMF Phone 2 Pro and the brand’s strong retail expansion efforts.

Nothing phones seem to have gained a lot of consumer attention in India, which is considered the fastest-growing smartphone industry. Recently, Nothing’s sub-brand CMF by Nothing has also shifted its global marketing function to India.

Overall, the Indian smartphone market grew 8% YoY in volume and 18% YoY in value in Q2, 2025. The recovery was driven by a 33% YoY jump in new launches, aggressive marketing, and strong summer sales with brands offering steeper discounts, easy EMIs, and bundled offers, especially in the mid and premium segments.
