Tesla Now Accepting Online Orders for Model Y in India, Prioritises Deliveries in Mumbai, Pune, Delhi and Gurgaon

Tesla India has now announced on X (formerly Twitter) an update regarding the availability of its Model Y in India, making it easier for buyers across the country to place orders directly through the official Tesla India website. “Now everyone in India can order directly on our website,” the post read, followed by an image of a list of cities and states you can place your order from. The company stated that residents from  Mumbai, Pune, Delhi, and Gurgaon will be given priority in delivery initially.

The Tesla Model Y was recently launched in the Indian market, and currently the only available car in the catalogue for the Indian market. The Model Y comes in two variants: the rear-wheel drive version starting at Rs 59.89 lakh and the long-range rear-wheel drive priced at Rs 67.89 lakh (on-road cost starting from Rs 61 lakh). Tesla has also opened its first showroom in India called the “Tesla Experience Centre”. It is located in the Maker Maxity Mall in Mumbai’s Bandra Kurla Complex. This place offers visitors a direct experience with Tesla’s products and technology.
