Tesla is training a new FSD model with- 10x parameters: Elon Musk

Back in June, Tesla CEO Elon Musk shared details on two distinct new versions of Full Self-Driving (FSD) that were in development- one of which was said to arrive soon, while another variant promised another leap in FSD’s abilities. Musk has today officially announced via the X platform that Tesla is training a new Full Self-Driving (FSD) model.

This FSD model is said to be developed with 10 times more parameters and a big improvement in video compression loss. This suggests a shift toward lossy compression techniques. The CEO has also mentioned that this new FSD model will probably be ready for public release by the end of September 2025.

In the coming days, we may come across some more details about this upcoming FSD model, and its official release date might also be announced.
