After Mumbai, Tesla to open its second showroom in India in Delhi today

Recently, Tesla opened its first showroom in India, the ‘Tesla Experience Center’, located in the Maker Maxity Mall in Mumbai’s BKC. And now, after Mumbai, the company will be opening its second showroom in India today.

The showroom will be opening in the Worldmark 3 complex at Aerocity in Delhi at 2 PM. This showroom will also be named Tesla Experience Center. Reportedly, Tesla has leased about 8,200 square feet of space at Worldmark 3 under a nine-year agreement, and the lease is said to begin at Rs 17.22 lakh per month, with rent escalations scheduled every three years.
The Tesla Experience Center in Delhi is said to function as both a display and a customer interaction facility. Currently, Tesla’s India portfolio includes the Model Y, and it is expected that this model will be showcased in the new Delhi showroom today.
The Model Y is available in two variants: the rear-wheel drive version, starting at Rs 59.89 lakh, and the long-range rear-wheel drive, priced at Rs 67.89 lakh (on-road cost starting from Rs 61 lakh). The orders for this latest SUV have started in almost all states; however, the initial focus on deliveries will be in Mumbai, Pune, Delhi, and Gurgaon.
