This resulted in a loss for the original creators, while others got the benefit from the content they just reposted.

Addressing this issue, Head of Product at X, Nikita Bier, announced that the company is now identifying such posts through improved detection models and allocating the impressions entirely to the original creator.

Users who have insightful commentary about a post are advised to use the Share Video or Quote feature to ensure their posts are properly attributed. In the comment section, it is explained that commentary is encouraged and will get a portion of impressions. However, original posts will always get the bulk of the allocation.

One user in the comment section also raised an issue that the post video feature only has a maximum of 280 characters, and then the video turns into a link. To this, Bier replied that they will fix that bug soon.

Support for the Pro plan and Claude Sonnet 4.6 has been brought as part of it.

Read more about it below.

Claude Code Auto Mode Expanded With Pro Plan and Claude Sonnet 4.6 Support

The Auto mode that is among the features on Claude Code is now available for Pro plan users. Earlier, the feature had limited availability, but with this new update, Pro plan users will also be able to access Auto mode and let Claude continue working on given tasks with fewer interruptions.

Speaking more about the second update, Anthropic has also added support for Claude Sonnet 4.6 in Auto mode. It is now supported alongside Claude Opus 4.7, giving users one more model option while using this feature on Claude Code. Notably, Auto mode is only available on the Anthropic API, and is not available on Bedrock, Vertex, or Foundry.

As already known, Auto mode is what lets Claude continue executing tasks with fewer permission prompts. Users can enable Auto mode in Claude Code by pressing Shift + Tab, after which Claude will be able to continue working on the given task with fewer stops. Anthropic has also advised users to run the claude update command or update the Claude desktop app to the latest version in order to access these new updates.

Coming to its availability, Auto mode is available for supported accounts, while Team and Enterprise users will need admin approval before they can turn it on. Admins can enable it from Claude Code admin settings, while they can also lock it off by setting permissions.disableAutoMode to “disable” in managed settings.

If Claude Code shows Auto mode as unavailable, it means one of the required conditions has not been met, and it is not a temporary outage. However, if a message says that Auto mode “cannot determine the safety” of an action for a particular model, then it is a temporary classifier outage.

Folks at WABetaInfo have now revealed that the latest WhatsApp beta for iPhone includes references to a new contacts hub that will make it easier to see who is online and who was active recently. Though WhatsApp only lets users see someone else’s online status if they also make their own online status visible.

Earlier, for users who kept their online status enabled, we still had to open each contact’s conversation individually and look at the top to check whether the contact was online or when they were last active.

As per the new report, WhatsApp will introduce a new Contacts section that will list those who have been recently online. It will be placed within the app settings, just below the profile photo. WhatsApp will also display up to 4 favourite contacts in this section.

Contacts who are currently online appear at the top of the list, and they are shown with a green dot on their profile picture. Below them, WhatsApp shows contacts who have been recently active in chronological order.

The Contacts hub will also offer users the ability to search for any contact through the search bar. They will also be able to add a phone number to their WhatsApp contacts manually or by scanning a QR code. Users can manage and update their Favourites from this section, while the contact list can be sorted by name instead of online status.

It is revealed that this feature isn’t currently available even to beta testers, but they were able to activate it.

Via a post shared by Haryana Police’s official X handle, this latest initiative has now been announced.

Read more about it below.

Notably, this new feature is currently being introduced as a pilot program for HDFC Bank account holders aged 60 years and above in the Gurugram and Panchkula areas. With this latest feature, senior citizens will now be able to add a second trusted phone number, which could belong to a family member as well.

Coming to how this feature works, earlier only the account holder used to receive the OTP on their registered device. However, with this new Double OTP System, both the registered device and the added trusted number will receive the OTP during an online transaction. The transaction would only be successful if both OTPs are entered.

This would play a crucial role in preventing cyber fraud cases targeting senior citizens, while also adding an extra layer of security during online transactions. As stated above, those eligible and interested in registering for this feature may contact their respective HDFC Bank branch for the same.

Stay tuned for more updates!

Fast mode is a high-speed configuration for Claude Opus, making the model 2.5x faster at a higher cost per token. Developers can toggle it on with /fast when they need speed for interactive work like rapid iteration or live debugging, and toggle it off when cost matters more than latency.

Fast mode pricing is 30/150 MTok on both Opus 4.7 and Opus 4.6. Opus 4.7 is the fast mode default in Claude Code v2.1.142 and later. Fast Mode pricing is flat across the full 1M token context window. This mode for Opus 4.7 and Opus 4.6 shares the same rate limit pool; usage on either model draws from the same limits.

This mode is said to be best for interactive work where response latency matters more than cost, like rapid iteration on code changes, live debugging sessions and time-sensitive work with tight deadlines. Currently, Fast mode is a research preview feature.

Here’s more about it.

Read more about this latest update below.

mAadhaar App to Retire Soon; UIDAI Introduces New Aadhaar App

As per the details officially shared by Unique Identification Authority of India via its official X account, the existing mAadhaar app is soon going to retire, although the authority has not yet revealed an exact timeline for its discontinuation. In place of it, UIDAI has now introduced the new Aadhaar App, which is designed to offer features such as QR-based Aadhaar sharing, enhanced privacy controls, and seamless access to Aadhaar-related services. Additionally, the newly-announced application is said to make the overall digital identity experience simpler and more convenient for users.

Speaking more about the features of the new Aadhaar App, apart from QR-based Aadhaar sharing support, the app is also revealed to offer offline verification, authentication history tracking, and biometric lock/unlock controls directly through smartphones. Along with these features, the application will also allow users to add multiple Aadhaar profiles of their family members using the same mobile number as well.

At the time of writing, both the mAadhaar app and the newly-introduced Aadhaar App are currently available via the Google Play Store and Apple’s App Store platforms. Users who wish to switch to the new Aadhaar App can simply head over to their respective app stores and search for the application manually. Alternatively, users can also directly visit the official app listing pages through the links shared by UIDAI – Google Play Store(compatible with Android 9 or later) and Apple’s App Store (compatible with iOS 16 or later).

According to a report by @WABetaInfo, WhatsApp is releasing the iOS 26.19.10.72 update for beta testers on iOS, available on the TestFlight app. With this update, the company is said to be rolling out a feature that makes new messages disappear after they are read.

Previously disappearing messages allow users to send messages that WhatsApp automatically deletes after a set period of time. Users could choose between three timer options: 24 hours, 7 days, or 90 days.

With the new update, users will get the new “After reading” option as seen in the above image. When users choose this option, they can opt to make their messages disappear once they’re read. They can choose whether their messages disappear 5 minutes, 1 hour, or 12 hours after the recipient reads them. Although unread messages always disappear after 24 hours by default.

For example, if you send a message and set it to disappear after reading with a 5-minute timer, the message will be deleted from the sender’s side 5 minutes after it is sent (does not matter if the receiver has opened the message or not). Meanwhile, once the receiver views the message, a 5-minute countdown starts on their device, and then after 5 minutes, the message is deleted.

The “After reading” option should be selected manually by the users. It is reported that the new timer can also be applied on a per-chat basis.

This new feature is available to some beta testers who install the latest WhatsApp beta for iOS update from TestFlight. A limited number of users may also be able to test the feature even through the version available on the App Store.

It is said that over the coming weeks, WhatsApp will expand access to more users.

But the company seems to have now changed this policy.

As reported by a Reddit user, during the setup process of a new Google account, the user was notified that they would only get 5GB of free storage. In order to unlock 15GB of storage at no cost, the user would need to link a phone number to the account.

The company mentioned that “Google will use your phone number to make sure storage is added only once per person.” This is done to stop users and bots from abusing Google’s system and getting more storage on a technically infinite basis.

Earlier, a support page mentioned that “Your Google Account comes with 15GB of cloud storage at no charge,” but the support page now reads that “Each Google Account includes up to 15GB of storage.” It is said that the company made this change in March 2026.

It is not explicitly mentioned that the phone number linking is required for 15GB of storage outside of the new account setup process.

Google has now allowed developers of third-party calling apps to integrate with Google Phone and other system dialers.

Jetpack Telecom v1.1.0 brings native-level visibility and convenience to third-party VoIP apps. The latest release introduces powerful new capabilities, including unified call history, call log exclusion, and native callback functionality.

With the new integrated call logging feature, system dialer apps like Phone by Google can now surface call logs directly from third-party VoIP apps. Users can even initiate a callback to a VoIP contact straight from their native system dialer, streamlining the communication experience.

With Call Log exclusion, you can now prevent specific calls from being logged into the system call logs. By configuring this flag, the call remains completely hidden from the system logs, and the native dialer will not display it.

The integrated logging and callback features are available for devices running Android 16.1 (SDK 36.1) and higher.

Developers are encouraged to test these integrations and explore how unified call history and callbacks can improve the daily user experience of their VoIP apps.
