Redesigned Tesla Roadster

Roadster is inspired by the SR-71 & F-35. It features active aerodynamics, a multi-mode suction system and SpaceX’s cold-gas thrusters.

On the outside, it features concealed headlights, a full-length taillight & flush-mounted surfaces for a minimalist, highly technical form. Super-light wheels with thin spokes reinforce structural strength when earthbound. The Ano white paint brings an aerospace-derived finish with UV & cryogenic protection, electrostatic dissipation & corrosion resistance. The Gold Glazed tinted glass mimics the copper coating of spacesuit visors, with subtle titanium accents.

On the inside, it features ultrawhite interiors with grey microsuede detailing and seat bolsters for added grip. Manual controls and a fixed seat position reduce overall vehicle mass, while lightweight, high-strength materials throughout, including magnesium, titanium and carbon fiber help reduce it further. The yoke is designed specifically for steer-by-wire. A centre touchscreen supported by two smaller forward displays provides critical driving info.

Tesla’s multi-mode fan and ground sealing system act as a downforce generator, pulling air out from beneath the vehicle. This provides enough suction to hold the vehicle upside down, even when stationary. Powered fans and active wings maximise traction and cornering speeds in all conditions, achieving massive downforce at zero speed. Drivers can activate track mode to lower the car and transform the suspension. High downforce or low drag modes can then be used as needed on the track.

SpaceX’s advanced cold-gas thrusters use all-electric actuators to offer precise thrust, completing micro-adjustments within a fraction of a second. As revealed by the company, it reaches 0- 60 mph in 0.81 seconds (0.67 seconds with rollout subtracted).

There are three configurations of this flying car:

• Performance (open for reservation): Road Ready with seating for 2. It features active aerodynamics and a multi-mode suction system that maximises downforce for next-level performance on and off the track.
• Thrust (limited release): Race-ready with seating for 2. It.grey.  features a multi-mode suction system paired with cold-gas thrusters in the rear of the vehicle that propel Roadster from 0-60 in under 1 second.
• Rocket (can be purchased with invite only): Air-ready with seating for 1. It features a multi-mode suction system paired with cold-gas thrusters positioned around the perimeter of the vehicle that support forward and upward acceleration as well as lateral rotational movement. This variant is not approved for public road use.

As per reports, the company is now planning to begin production in 2028.

Reservations open in India

Tesla Roadster reservations are now open in India. The Thrust model costs Rs 2,50,25,000, while the Performance model costs Rs 50,06,000.

LG’s suite of advanced in-cabin solutions integrated into the Genesis GV90

LG’s technologies for the GV90 support a premium in-car experience for drivers and passengers. The suite of six solutions includes the variable pop-up display system, integrated infotainment system and LG Automotive Content Platform (ACP), as well as the connected car Rear Cockpit (ccRC) rear-seat entertainment system, console touch screen (CTS) and central communication unit (CCU) 2.0.

LG’s 24.6-inch variable pop-up central information display system adapts to the scenario, adjusting position and viewable area to help make driving more intuitive and entertainment more immersive and convenient. When the focus is driving, the display maintains a lower profile with a visible screen of 23.6 inches, uniting the audio, video and navigation system and instrument cluster for at-a-glance readability and easy control. For stationary use, the screen rises by an additional 90mm, expanding to a 24.6-inch size.

LG’s integrated infotainment system- embedded in Hyundai Motor Group’s Pleos Connect- which serves as the central hub for the GV90 cockpit. It supports the delivery of Pleos Connect OS and the Gleo AI voice assistant service. Optimised for the variable pop-up display system, its user experience design and graphical user interface provide seamless control of various in-vehicle functions.

The Genesis GV90 features LG ACP, delivering content experiences tailored to the in-vehicle environment. The platform gives occupants access to a growing lineup of entertainment and digital services, spanning streaming and communication. Passengers can watch their favourite content on the vehicle’s infotainment display, from services such as Netflix, Disney+, YouTube, TVING, Baby Shark World for Kids and Haystack News, as well as LG Channels, LG’s free ad-supported streaming TV service. New additions planned for LG ACP include Zoom, Rakuten TV and HappyKids, with availability subject to regional launch schedules.

LG’s in-cabin technologies also enhance the GV90 rear-seat passenger experience. The GV90 features the second-generation ccRC, a rear-seat entertainment system equipped with a 13.2-inch, touch-sensitive OLED panel. Integrated with LG ACP, ccRC provides vivid image quality and a range of content and services to help transform the back of the cabin into a private theatre or lounge.

An eight-inch CTS further elevates convenience by serving as a touch-based control interface for diverse vehicle functions, including HVAC, doors, seats, lighting, media and massage. CTS also features haptic feedback and supports cybersecurity capabilities and over-the-air (OTA) updates.

LG’s CCU 2.0 is an integrated control unit that enables communication between the GV90’s key electronic control units (ECUs) and connectivity to external networks. It supports essential vehicle services, including remote control and OTA updates, and has obtained certification from TÜV Rheinland for compliance with ASIL-D requirements for automotive functional safety.

Honda’s Elevate Facelift 2026– Design Changes and Features

The new 2026 facelift features a revised mesh grille, Tri-Bar Signature LED front position lights, and a connected LED tail-lamp layout at the rear paired with a 17-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels with a dark finish (on select variants).

Speaking more about its interior, an Ivory-and-Black colour theme with soft-touch leatherette padding and contrast stitching has been given along with a wraparound ambient lighting. Whereas, the ZX+ Black variant features an all-black cabin with Active Orange ambient lighting.

Also to note, Nordic Forest Pearl has been added to the colour choices, and customers will be offered this shade in both a single-tone finish and a dual-tone configuration with a Crystal Black Pearl roof.

Honda’s Elevate Facelift – Engine and Specifications

Regarding its mechanical specifications, the Honda Elevate facelift continues with the 1.5-litre, four-cylinder, naturally aspirated i-VTEC petrol engine which produces 119bhp (121PS) at 6,600rpm and 145Nm of torque at 4,300rpm, and customers will be offered a six-speed manual gearbox or a seven-step CVT automatic with paddle shifters.

The listed fuel-efficiency figures stand at 15.31kmpl for the manual version and 16.61kmpl for the CVT version. Additionally, the SUV offers a boot capacity of 458 litres, while its ground clearance is stated as 220mm.

LG to supply its Integrated Cockpit Solution for Renault Group’s first commercial SDV

Combining the instrument cluster and infotainment system, LG’s unified solution plays an integral role in the vehicle, enabling a more seamless and intuitive user experience while supporting a software-centric approach to vehicle development. The cluster element provides driving information such as vehicle speed, revolutions per minute (RPM) and warning indicators, while the infotainment system supports features including navigation and media playback. This allows driving and infotainment information to be presented in a more consistent and intuitive way across the vehicle’s displays.

LG’s integrated cockpit solution is optimised for SDVs. SDVs use high-performance computing and a centralised software architecture to integrate the control of multiple vehicle functions. Another key advantage of SDVs is the ability to continuously add new features and upgrade existing ones via over-the-air (OTA) software updates.

LG was recognised by Renault Group as an outstanding supplier in 2014, 2017 and 2020, and the two companies worked together to develop an Android-based automotive infotainment system in 2021. Building on this proven collaboration, LG developed and delivered an integrated cockpit solution tailored for Renault Group’s first production SDV.

LG plans to further expand its partnerships with major global automakers across North America, Asia and other key markets, strengthening its position as a trusted supplier in the fast-growing SDV automotive electronics market.

Renault Triber Turbo: Features

On the exterior, there are no design changes that separate the Triber Turbo from its naturally aspirated petrol counterpart. On the front, it features a gloss-black grille with the carmaker’s new logo, LED headlamps with LED daytime running lights, and fog lamps at the outer edges. There are 15-inch wheels with dual-tone covers designed to look like alloys; door handles and outside rearview mirrors (ORVMs) are finished in gloss black. There is also a new ‘TURBO’ badge on the tailgate, making it stand apart from the petrol version.

On the interior, it gets an 8-inch touchscreen with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, along with a 7-inch digital instrument cluster. Other features include: wireless phone charger, automatic climate control with separate blower control for the rear, a cooled centre storage box, automatic headlights and wipers, a rear washer/wiper, cruise control, and push button for start/stop. The boot space for the third row folded in is 625 litres.

Safety features include 6 airbags, ABS, EBD, ESP, traction control, hill-start assist, and a tyre-pressure monitoring system.

Coming to the powertrain the Triber Turbo gets an HR10 1.0-litre three-cylinder engine that offers 180Nm of torque and 100hp peak power output. It is claimed to reach 0-100kph in 10.8 seconds. It is available with a 5-speed manual, and a CVT automatic is set to arrive soon.

Mahindra Thar OG: Features

It features a bold new grille with new LED headlamps and signature C-shaped DRLs on the outside, along with new rugged front and rear bumpers with a wider track. New R19 alloy wheels, LED ice-cube fog lamps with cornering lamps, and new LED taillamps are some of its other features. Two new colour options are unveiled: Artemis Silver and Jeans Blue, along with 6 existing colours.

Inside the cabin, there is a soft second-row armrest with cupholders and truffle brown leatherette seats. For safety, there are 6 airbags, including 4 first-in-segment Head Pelvis Thorax Shoulder airbags for front and rear passenger protection. All 4 disc brakes arrive with a comprehensive ESP 9.3 suite and front parking sensors.

The Thar OG is underpinned by the M_Glyde 4G platform with higher stiffness to deliver confident driving both on-road and off-road. The rear PENTALINK suspension incorporates a Watts Link for better cornering stability and precise control.

The dark edition comes in Friesian Black on the outside as standard, featuring darkened Tata emblems, darkened alloy wheels and ‘#DARK’ badging on the front fenders. On the front, the SUV features a split-type headlight setup, with sleek, inverted L-shaped LED DRLs positioned at the top, and the main headlights mounted lower on the bumper. It sports dual-tone alloy wheels along with thick black cladding around the wheel arches. The doors appear to feature sharp lines.

At the rear, the SUV sports slim, wraparound inverted L-shaped LED tail-lights mounted on a thick black strip that appears to connect both units. A rear wiper and a partially blacked-out C-pillar can also be seen.

Previously, the company also teased the interior design sketches of the Bayon, which showcased a layered dashboard layout with dual digital screens, a 3-spoke steering wheel, and a vertically oriented AC control panel in the centre console.

According to Mr Simon Loasby, Senior Vice President & Head of Hyundai Design Centre, Hyundai Motor Company, “The sculpted hood, bold fender volumes and distinctive H-Edge lighting create a strong and unmistakable presence, giving BAYON a character that feels capable, modern and distinctively its own.”

Xiaomi SkyNomad N70 SUVs

Features

The N70 models feature extra-large second-row space, standard features like a massage chair and a sliding island, optional swivel or zero-gravity seats, 1410mm maximum passenger space, and a standard 1203 L trunk volume that expands to 245 L.

The dashboard layout includes a 16.1-inch 3K central display, an 8.8-inch instrument cluster, and a 20-inch head-up display. Rear passengers have access to a 21.4-inch entertainment screen, and the cabin includes a built-in 9-litre compressor refrigerator capable of both cooling and heating.

Qualcomm’s third-generation Snapdragon 8 SoC powers it and runs on HyperOS. Both trims come standard with Xiaomi HAD. There is a front-facing LiDAR unit, 4D mm-wave radar, 11 HD cameras and ADAS software.

The N70 models boast an armored cage body that consists of 14 sections of 2200MPa Xiaomi super-strong steel, a one-piece thermoformed door ring with 9 airbags and a Xiaomi Longjia battery. There are 6 colour options: Distant mountain green, cold khaki, butterfly valley blue, pearl white, volcanic ash and obsidian black.

The models feature a boxy design with dragonfly headlights and inverted-U halo taillights. It comes with a 2,950 mm wheelbase.

The N70 Max model is equipped with a 76 kWh ternary lithium battery and comes with a CLTC pure electric range of 505km. The WLTC has a fuel consumption of 6.1L/100km, while the CLTC has a combined range of 1461km. The N70 Pro model is equipped with 52kWh lithium iron phosphate battery and comes with a CLTC pure electric range of 351km. The WLTC electric version has a fuel consumption of 5.7L/100km, while the CLTC has a combined range of 1351km.

The N70 Max arrives with dual-motor AWD and boasts front double wishbone, rear multi-link independent suspension, air springs, and continuously damped variable shock absorbers. It offers 0-100km/h acceleration in 5.5 seconds and 190km/h top speed. The N70 Pro model arrives with a dual-motor AWD setup and boasts front double wishbone and rear multi-link independent suspension. It offers 0-100km/h acceleration in 7.9 seconds and 190km/h top speed.

Both models use a 1.5L turbocharged engine as a range extender, bringing the total combined range to over 1,350km. Meanwhile, fast charging can add up to 310km of range to the Max in 15 minutes.

It comes with a 2+2+3 seating layout. A zero-gravity layout is available in the first and second rows, while the second row offers 950mm of legroom and the third row offers 890mm of legroom. It boasts 1831L of ultimate storage, a standard sliding island, Xiaomi HAD, an armored cage body and a Xiaomi Longjia battery.

The N90 Max model features dual-motor FWD and 76kWh large battery range extender. It arrives with a front double wishbone, rear multi-link independent suspension with air springs and continuously dumped variable shock absorbers. The SUV model offers 0-100km/h acceleration in 5.9 seconds. CLTC has a combined range of 1705km, while CLTC has a pure electric range of 434km. SkyNomad N90 Max Explorer Edition

It is based on the N90 Max model, but it comes with a factory-integrated electric lifting cabin roof. The roof raises the total vehicle height to 2,294mm and provides up to 100mm of additional roof height. The second-floor space measures 2110mm x 985mm, and it is fully furnished with lighting, AC and a charging magnetic interface.

The rear sofa seats can be quickly converted into a bed with one touch, while the second-row seats can be split 40/60 to form a separate bed. It supports Xiao AI voice control and comes standard with ventilation and heating, 1.7m² natural wood-grain aluminium alloy flooring with comfort floor heating system.

There is a built-in closet with 20L total capacity, a soft-light makeup mirror, a floating bedside table and a magnetic power interface bedside lamp. The Explorer Edition can be used as a mobile studio, a photographer’s natural viewing cabin or a camping car.

The CLTC of this model has a combined range of 1688km. The WLTC fuel consumption when the battery is low is 6.28L/100km, while the CLTC has a pure electric range of 462km. There are four exterior colours: Butterfly Valley Blue, Volcanic Ash, Distant Mountain Green, and Cold Khaki. And two interior colours: Sand Rice and Mocha Brown. It retains the N90 Max powertrain.
