Google messages has revealed 10 new features to compete itself with its rival iMessage

To compete with iMessage on iOS devices and be the best messaging app for Android users, Google Messages offers a wide variety of services to its customers. The app has added several new program enhancements to its existing features, including answers to individual messages, support for iOS emoji reactions, and many more.

Over the next several weeks, Google will change the Messages symbol to more accurately represent the experience of sending texts today. To reinforce the idea that communication requires more than one person, the icon has been updated with message bubbles that are overlapping.

Android began displaying iPhone users’ emoji reactions on Android smartphones earlier this year. This is because in the past when an Android user received a text reply from an iPhone user that had an emoji, the Android user would also receive a full-text reply that contained a quote from the original message as well as the emoji the iOS user had used.
Now that iPhone users can react to SMS messages with emojis, the idea has advanced.

The Messages app now includes reminders right away to help you remember important events. This eliminates the need to manually make a reminder and activate various programs.

When RCS is enabled, it is simpler to answer a specific message without interrupting the conversation because you can reply to a single message within a topic. If you wish to respond to one of the 100 texts you receive in an individual chat or a single message in a group chat, this option can be useful.

Utilizing machine learning, the voice message transcription technology automatically translates the audio message so you can readily access it. This suggests that you will be able to read the audio message like any other text message rather than listening to it.

To make it easier for you to keep track of and discover important talks, Messages now automatically suggests that you “star” or bookmark messages that contain texts like addresses, door codes, and phone numbers.

Instead of being routed to the YouTube app when you click on a YouTube video link, you can now watch videos inside the Google Messages app without leaving the app. This is because a Window within the application will open and the video will start playing.

Google Calendar and Google Meet are linked.

You can now ask Google Assistant to send a message from your new Pixel Watch thanks to the most recent update. Consequently, Google Messages is now available across a range of Google products, including Android smartphones, Chromebooks, and even wearables.
