Instagram – 13yrs 

Instagram was founded on 6th October, 2010 by Kevin Systrom and Mike Krieger and is currently owned by Meta Platforms. Adam Mosseri is the current CEO of the company. In 2023, Instagram is turning 13 years of age since its creation.

Twitter – 17yrs

Twitter is becoming 17 years in age since its creation in 21st March 2006 by Jack Dorsey. Noah Glass, Evan Williams and Biz Stone. Elon Musk currently owns Twitter and is in charge of the microblogging platform.

Facebook – 19yrs

Facebook is becoming 19 years of age after it was created in 2004. The company was created by Mark Zuckerberg, Andrew McCollum, Chris Hughes, Eduardo Saverin and Dustin Moskovitz. Zuckerberg has taken full charge of the company and currently owns it.

Tesla – 20yrs

Tesla was founded by Elon Musk, Martin Eberhard, JB Straubel, Marc Trapening and Ian Wright. Elon Musk is the current the CEO of the company and Tesla is turning 20 years in age after it was created in 2003.

SpaceX – 21yrs

SpaceX will become 21 years in age since its creation in 2002 by Elon Musk and Tom Mueller. Elon Musk is also the CEO of SpaceX.

Google – 25yrs

Google was founded by Larry Page and Sergey Brin on September 8th, 1998 and Sundar Pichai is currently in-charge of the company. Google will turn 25 years this year in 2023.

Netflix – 26yrs

Netflix was founded in 1997 by Reed Hastings and Marc Randolph. The company will become 26 years in age this year. Reed Hastings and Ted Sarandos are the current Co-CEOs of the company.

Amazon – 29yrs

Amazon was created by Jeff Bezos in 1994 and is turning 29 years in age since its creation. Andy Jassy is the current CEO of Amazon.

Dell is turning 39 years after its creation on the 1st of February, 1984. The company was founded by Michael S. Dell and he himself is the CEO of the company.

Apple – 47yrs

Apple was founded in 1976 by Steve Jobs, Ronald Wayne and Steve Wozniak. Tim Cook is the current CEO of Apple and the company will become 47 years in age since its creation.

Microsoft – 48yrs

Microsoft was founded by Bill Gates and Paul Allen on the 4th of April, 1975 and is turning 48 years in age this year. Satya Nadella is the current CEO of Microsoft.

Sony – 77yrs

Sony which was created on May 7, 1946 will become 77 years in age after its creation. The company was founded by Akio Morita and Masaru Ibuka. Kenichiro Yoshida is the current CEO of the company.

Samsung – 85yrs

Samsung is turning 85 years in age this year since its creation in 1938 by Lee Byung-chul. Kim Ki Nam, Kim Hyun Suk and Koh Dong-Jin are the co-CEOs of the company.

Mercedes Benz – 97yrs

Mercedes Benz will turn 97 years in age since its creation by Karl Benz, Gottlieb Daimler, Wilhelm Maybach and Emil Jellinek. Ola Kallenius is the CEO of Mercedes Benz.

Disney – 100yrs

Disney has turned 100! The company was founded on 16th October, 1923 by Walt Disney and Roy O. Disney. Robert Iger is the current CEO of the company.

BMW – 107yrs

BMW was founded in 1916 by Karl Rapp, Gustav Otto, Camillo Castiglioni and Franz Josef Popp. Oliver Zipse is the current CEO and the company will become 107 years in age this year.

IBM – 112yrs

Nintendo was created on the 23rd of September 1889 by Fusajiro Yamauchi. The company will turn 134 years in age this year in 2023.

Nokia – 158yrs

Nokia is turning 158 years of age this year. The company was founded in 1865 by Fredrik Idestam, Leo Mechelin and Eduard Polon. Pekka Lundmark is the current CEO of the company.
