Following some confusion over the India launch date of the Xiaomi Pad 8, new details have now revealed that the Xiaomi Pad 8 in India will launch in two variants.

Xiaomi Pad 8 – Indian Variant Details Tipped
In a post on X, a tipster named Yogesh Brar has revealed that the Xiaomi Pad 8, which is set to launch in India on February 28 alongside the Xiaomi 17 Series, will come in two variants. One of them will feature a regular display, while the other will come with a Nano Texture Display.
These same variants were also introduced in China, where one model had a standard display while the other variant featured an AG nano-texture + AR coating to reduce reflectivity by 70%. Xiaomi referred to it as the “Soft Light” (translated from Chinese) version in China. This is likely the variant the tipster is referring to in his post.
Regarding its specifications, some of the details have already been revealed via the Amazon microsite. As per the listing, it is confirmed to come with the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 SoC, and a claimed AnTuTu score of over 2 million. Just like the Chinese variant, it will feature a 9000mAh battery and is claimed to offer up to two days of backup. Accessories like the Xiaomi Focus Pen Pro and Xiaomi Focus Keyboard were also revealed via the microsite.
