Xiaomi Pad 8 spotted on Geekbench with Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 SoC, same as its Chinese sibling

Xiaomi’s upcoming tablet for the global market has now been spotted on the Geekbench database, revealing that it will likely come with the same specs as the Chinese variant.
Here is more to it.
Xiaomi Pad 8 Global Geekbench
The Geekbench listing, first spotted by tipster Abhishek Yadav, reveals the model number as “25097RP43G”, and when compared with the Xiaomi Pad 8 Chinese variant’s model number, both are identical, with the only difference being the last letter, which changes from ‘C’ to ‘G’.
Speaking more, it shows a total of four CPU clusters, with a single core running at 3.21GHz, three cores at 3.01GHz, two cores at 2.80GHz, and the remaining cores at 2.02GHz. The GPU is listed as Adreno 825 (8 compute units, device memory 3.69GB), pointing to the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 SoC.

The global variant’s prototype managed to score 2042 in the single-core test and 6145 in the multi-core test. Even the Chinese variant achieved similar scores as well.
Other details revealed show that it was running on Android 16 OS, and one of the RAM options listed was 8GB. Combining all of this reveals that the global variant will also come with similar specifications to the Chinese variant.
As for its global launch, Xiaomi is yet to confirm the details, but rumours suggest that both the Xiaomi Pad 8 and Pad 8 Pro will launch globally alongside the Xiaomi 17 series. Some say this may happen in Q1 2026, which would mean either February or March.
