Xiaomi Pad 8, Pad 8 Pro and Focus Pen Pro Spotted on UAE TDRA Certification; Global Launch Imminent

Xiaomi Pad 8 and Xiaomi Pad 8 Pro are likely going to launch soon in the global markets since both devices have been appearing on multiple certifications. Now, both tablets have been spotted on another certification platform — the UAE’s TDRA — and along with them, Xiaomi Focus Pen Pro has also been listed on the same certification database.
Here is more to it.
Xiaomi Pad 8 spotted on the UAE’s TDRA
Starting with the Xiaomi Pad 8, it has been listed with the model number “25097RP43G” and confirms that it was approved on 14th January 2026 with the equipment registration number “ER55466/26”, thus confirming that it will launch in the UAE market. Further, under Product Type, it shows “Tablet (With Wi-Fi Only)”, hinting that it will launch in a Wi-Fi-only option with no cellular connectivity. Other than this, the certification does not reveal any specifications as such.

Prior to this, the device had already been spotted on India’s BIS certification and Singapore’s IMDA certification, thus confirming its launch in the respective markets. The IMDA certification revealed connectivity features such as Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, induction loop communication system, WPT, and WPC. Looking at the model number, it matches with the one that has already launched in China, with only the last letter changing from “C” to “G”. This suggests that the global variant may also come with the same spec sheet as the Chinese variant.
Xiaomi Pad 8 Pro spotted on the UAE’s TDRA
Next is the Pro variant, which has been listed with the model number “25091RP04G”. Under the Product Type, it also shows “Tablet (With Wi-Fi Only)”, which reveals that it is also going to arrive without cellular connectivity. The listing further reveals that it was approved on 14th January 2026 with the equipment registration number “ER55465/26”. Once again, only limited details are revealed through the UAE’s TDRA certification.

Speaking more, the Xiaomi Pad 8 Pro was earlier spotted on Singapore’s IMDA certification and also on the FCC certification. Similar to the standard model, the IMDA listing revealed Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, induction loop communication system, WPT, and WPC. Meanwhile, the FCC certification revealed specifications such as Android 16-based Xiaomi HyperOS 3.0, Wi-Fi 6E with 2.4GHz + 5GHz dual-band support, Bluetooth v6.0, and a 9000mAh rated battery (battery model number: “BM83”). Looking at the model number, it matches with the Pro variant that has already launched in China, which again hints that the global variant may arrive with similar specifications. The same battery model number is used for both Xiaomi Pad 8 and Pad 8 Pro in China, though it is marketed as 9200mAh, suggesting that the battery capacity could remain the same for global models as well.
Xiaomi Focus Pen Pro spotted on the UAE’s TDRA
Lastly, Xiaomi Focus Pen Pro has also been listed on the TDRA certification with the model number “2508DMP70G” and was approved on 14th January 2026, similar to the above devices, with the equipment registration number “ER55467/26”. This stylus was launched alongside the Xiaomi Pad 8 series in China, and as per this new certification, it appears that it will also be introduced globally for the Xiaomi Pad 8 lineup.

Regarding the launch timeline, these products are expected to debut alongside the Xiaomi 17 series global launch. However, Xiaomi is yet to make any official announcement regarding the launch date.
