Xiaomi Pad 8 (25097RP43G) and Xiaomi Pad 8 Pro (25091RP04G) Global Variants Certified by Singapore’s IMDA Authority

It has already been announced that Xiaomi will be officially unveiling its next Xiaomi 17 series smartphone models tomorrow on the 25th of September 2025 in the Chinese market and the Xiaomi Pad 8 series tablets that were previously teased to release this month are also expected to break their covers alongside the flagship smartphones. Ahead of their Chinese debut, the global variants of the upcoming Xiaomi Pad 8 series tablets have now been certified by the IMDA authority, thereby confirming their launch in Singapore.

Xiaomi Pad 8 (25097RP43G) and Xiaomi Pad 8 Pro (25091RP04G) Global Variants – IMDA Certification
The Xiaomi Pad 8 with the model number of ‘25097RP43G’ and the Xiaomi Pad 8 Pro with the model number of ‘25091RP04G’ have now received the IMDA certification, and the ‘G’ in their model numbers points out that these are the global variants of the upcoming tablet devices. Bluetooth, WiFi, induction loop communication system, WPT, and WPC are revealed to be its connectivity specs, however the two are not listed with 4G or 5G network connectivity support. Also, both the devices are categorized as ‘tablet computers’ and their IMDA certification listings have confirmed the launch in the Singaporean market.

Speaking more, the Chinese variants of the Xiaomi Pad 8 and the Xiaomi Pad 8 Pro tablets were previously spotted on the Geekbench database and the two were revealed to use the 3.21GHz-clocked Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 and the 4.32GHz-clocked Snapdragon 8 Elite (standard version) processors respectively. For the Xiaomi Pad 8 Pro, it has been officially confirmed as well. The Geekbench database also revealed 12GB and 16GB RAM options respectively for the standard and pro models, and the two will offer the Android 16 operating system out of the box (with the Xiaomi HyperOS 3 on top). Also to add, the Indian variant of the Xiaomi Pad 8 was spotted on the BIS database as well, which suggested its arrival in India too.
