Xiaomi 17T (2602DPT53G) Clears Singapore’s IMDA Certification, Reveals NFC Support, Wireless Charging, and Other Connectivity Options
After appearing on the Derka, BIS, and IMEI databases, the Xiaomi 17T has now cleared Singapore’s telecom certification called IMDA (Infocomm Media Development Authority), revealing some connectivity options and wireless charging capabilities.
Here is more to it.
Xiaomi 17T – Singapore IMDA
On the Singapore IMDA certification, the model number “2602DPT53G” is listed under the brand name Xiaomi. Further, the listing confirms that it is a 5G mobile phone with Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and NFC connectivity. Under the equipment type, it shows “Induction Loop Communication System/WPT/WPC”, which means the device supports wireless charging. This would be an upgrade, as the Xiaomi 15T didn’t support wireless charging, and only the 15T Pro did.
Although the IMDA listing doesn’t reveal the moniker, an earlier IMEI listing had revealed that this model number, “2602DPT53G”, belongs to the upcoming Xiaomi 17T smartphone. Furthermore, a similar model number was spotted on the BIS certification, with only the last letter changed from “G” to “I”.

Spec-wise, the smartphone has not appeared on Geekbench yet, which could have revealed its processor and other details. However, the publication that spotted this smartphone on the IMEI database also revealed the camera specs via the HyperOS codebase, claiming that it will have the same camera specs as the Xiaomi 15T (its predecessor). This means a triple rear camera setup with a main 50MP OVX8000 sensor, a 50MP Samsung JN5D telephoto lens, a 12MP OV13B ultra-wide sensor, and a 32MP selfie shooter. This same report also revealed that it will come with a 7000mAh battery (1000mAh larger than the Xiaomi 15T), paired with 67W fast wired charging support. From rumours, it is expected to be powered by MediaTek Dimensity 8500 SoC.
So far, its India and Singapore launch seems imminent, as it has cleared regulatory authorities in both regions. But, its launch in other regions can’t be ruled out.
Stay tuned for more updates.
