Xiaomi 17 Pro Max Design Revealing Secondary Display Leaked, Followed by Previously-Shared First Look Images
The next Xiaomi 17 series was just recently confirmed to make its debut in the Chinese market this month in September 2025 and followed by the previously-shared first look images, a new design render of the Xiaomi 17 Pro Max has been leaked. Via this image, the secondary display of the upcoming flagship smartphone has also been revealed.

Xiaomi 17 Pro Max – Leaked Design Render Reveals Secondary Display
As mentioned, a week back, we had come across the first look images of the upcoming Xiaomi 17 Pro Max smartphone (then believed to be that of the Xiaomi 16 Pro Max), and notably the device was pointed out to sport a design that is similar to Apple’s iPhone 17 series. Quite evidently, two camera sensors were able to be spotted within the rectangular-like camera module placed at the top of the rear panel (in a horizontal fashion), while the third camera sensor as well as the LED flashlight were found outside at the bottom of the camera module at its left side. It was also said that this device will be featuring a secondary display too within the camera module at its right portion, much like the 2021-released Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra smartphone.
Now, a new design render of the Xiaomi 17 Pro Max smartphone has been leaked online, and it is claimed to have appeared on Xiaomi phone’s Weibo profile page (but is now replaced with the Xiaomi Mix Flip 2 image). What should be noted is that, this newly-leaked design render further gives a better idea on how the secondary display could be incorporated within the camera module, similar to how the cover display is featured on the latest Xiaomi Mix Flip 2 (and unlike the older Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra). Apart from the Purple and White color choices that were previously revealed for Xiaomi’s 17 Pro Max, it seems that a Black/Grey color choice can also be expected.
Speaking more, Xiaomi’s 17 series will be bringing out the very first Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5-powered smartphones to the market this month in September 2025, and three smartphone models will offered: Xiaomi 17, Xiaomi 17 Pro, and Xiaomi 17 Pro Max. Pre-booking for this latest flagship series is also now live in China.
