Xiaomi 17 Pro (25098PN5AC) Appears on Geekbench, Revealing Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip, Android 16 OS, 16GB RAM Option, and More
Xiaomi’s next 17 series will be debuting this month in the Chinese market and ahead of it, a new update has arrived concerning the Xiaomi 17 Pro smartphone. This upcoming device has now been spotted on the Geekbench database and along with its performance scores, a few of its key specs have also been pointed out.

Xiaomi 17 Pro (25098PN5AC) – Geekbench Listing
The Xiaomi 17 Pro smartphone is revealed to carry the model number of ‘25098PN5AC’, and it has received 3025 points and 9178 points respectively in the single-core and multi-core tests. Its 16GB RAM variant has been listed on the Geekbench database, and other specs such as the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip (standard version, clocked at 4.61 GHz), Adreno 840 GPU, and Android 16 OS have also been revealed for the upcoming device.
In related news, Samsung’s Galaxy S26 Edge smartphone powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip (for Galaxy, over-clocked at 4.74 GHz) was previously spotted on the Geekbench database, and it had scored considerably higher than the Xiaomi 17 Pro in both the single-core and multi-core tests (Samsung Galaxy S26 Edge scored 3393 points and 11515 points respectively*). This means that the Xiaomi 17 Pro prototype has not yet been properly optimized and it could be capable of scoring even higher benchmark scores.
Speaking more, the Xiaomi 17 series will be unveiling three smartphones this month in September 2025, and this will include the Xiaomi 17, Xiaomi 17 Pro, and the Xiaomi 17 Pro Max models. The pre-booking has also gone live in the Chinese market where the debut will take place. Also, just recently, the two pro models were confirmed to sport the brand’s new Magic Back Screen, and one among the previously 3C-listed Xiaomi smartphones is revealed to be the Xiaomi 17 Pro. To add, based on the 3C listing, Xiaomi’s 17 Pro smartphone will be supporting a 100W wired fast charging feature.
