Xiaomi 17 and Xiaomi 17 Ultra Standard Variant Specs Leak, Pointing to Smaller Battery Sizes Than the Chinese Models
Xiaomi 17 Series is likely to launch soon in the global markets, and a total of two smartphones are expected — Xiaomi 17 and Xiaomi 17 Ultra (both standard and Leica editions). Adding to this, both models’ specifications have now been leaked ahead of their launch in the global market.

Xiaomi 17 and Xiaomi 17 Ultra – Specs and Features leaked
Starting with the Xiaomi 17, tipster Sudhanshu Ambhore on X revealed a poster mentioning its complete specifications. And it is of no surprise, as we all knew that the Xiaomi 17 will likely bring the same spec sheet as the Chinese variant. However, there is a slight change in the battery section, as per the poster — the global variant will come with a slightly lower 6,330mAh battery compared to the 7,000mAh battery found in the Chinese variant.

Also, the poster shows the Xiaomi 17 in Black, Blue, Pink, and Green. However, past leaks and several rumours claim that only three colour options will be launched globally — Black, Blue, and Green. He, in another post, had revealed two memory options — 12GB/256GB and 12GB/512GB — for the Xiaomi 17’s global variant.
Speaking further, the Xiaomi 17 Ultra’s renders have also been leaked by a publication named Nieuwemobiel, which reveals the colour options as Green, White, and Black. Meanwhile, the Chinese variant came in Black, White, Starry Green, and Purple. Other than this, the publication also highlights that the global variant will come with a smaller battery size of 6,000mAh compared to the 6,800mAh battery in the Chinese variant. Also, these details revealed by the publication are for the Xiaomi 17 Ultra’s standard variant, and it does not mention anything about the Leica variant.
Speaking more about this, a tipster named Yogesh Brar revealed that the Xiaomi 17 Series may launch before MWC 2026, which starts on March 2. As for pricing, tipster MysteryLupin mentions a starting price of €1,499 for the Xiaomi 17 Ultra’s 16GB/512GB memory variant. Meanwhile, the Xiaomi 17 was also found listed on a European retailer website, revealing a price tag of €1,099 for the 12GB/512GB variant.
