X to soon let users watch YouTube videos directly inside the X app on iOS

The social media platform X (formerly Twitter) has evolved a lot over the past few years, with new features and changes being introduced on the platform to enhance user experience and make interactions over the platform more fun.
It is now reported online (via @yabhishekhd) that X is now working on adding in-line YouTube support to the X app timeline. This feature is said to be available to iOS users first.
𝕏 will soon let you watch YouTube videos directly inside the 𝕏 app on iOS.
No need to open the YouTube app separately.
This is good for viewers because it saves time.
Good for creators too because it can increase views. https://t.co/IIaFfjD6xb— Abhishek Yadav (@yabhishekhd) November 8, 2025
In the above post, it can be seen that a YouTube video related to the AirPods Pro 3 review is available on X timeline. This opt-in integration will allow YouTube to play videos automatically in your timeline and is also said to collect data about your interaction with its videos, subject to its Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. This capability will allow seamless viewing within the timeline without the need to switch apps.
For viewers, this feature will save their time, while for creators, the views on their videos will be increased through easier access. It seems like X is focusing on enhancing the multimedia engagement. Many users have shown their excitement related to this all-new capability, though it is not specified when this feature will be officially released for the X users.
