The Vivo Y500 5G is listed with the model number V2506A, which was also spotted recently on the 3C certification (earlier speculated to belong to the Vivo Y400+), confirming 90W wired fast charging support. Furthermore, the China Telecom listing reveals the chipset with the codename “MT6878”, featuring a base core clocked at 2.5GHz. This corresponds to the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 SoC, which was also confirmed earlier through its Geekbench listing. It is listed with 12GB of RAM and offers up to 512GB of internal storage, with no option to expand the storage via a microSD card.

It is listed with a 6.77-inch flat display featuring a screen resolution of 2392×1080 pixels. In terms of dimensions, the phone measures 163.10 × 75.90 × 8.23mm and weighs 213 grams.

On the rear, the Vivo Y500 5G features a dual-camera setup along with an Aura Light LED ring, featuring a 50MP primary sensor and a 2MP secondary lens. At the front, it houses an 8MP selfie shooter. Other features revealed in the listing include NFC support, USB Type-C, direction sensing, light sensing, gravity sensing, altitude sensing, and distance sensing. And yes, as per the China Telecom website, there is no fingerprint sensor on the Vivo Y500 5G.

The smartphone will be available in three colour options: Glacier Blue, Basalt Black, and Dragon Crystal Purple. These colour variants were previously teased by Vivo, but the exact naming has now been confirmed through the listing.

The China Telecom listing mentions the “time to market” as 5th September 2025, while the official launch is set for 1st September 2025. This means that the Vivo Y500 5G is likely to go on sale from 5th September onwards. As the launch date is just a few days away, more official details and teasers are expected to be revealed by Vivo soon.
