Vivo Y31 5G Smartphone Spotted on Google Play Console and Geekbench Databases: Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 (New Version), Android 15 OS, 4GB/6GB RAM, Front Design Render, and More Revealed
After the Y31 Pro 5G which is going to arrive as a re-branded version of the T4x 5G, Vivo’s upcoming Y31 5G standard model has also made its way to the Google Play Console database. Additionally, its Geekbench listing has also been spotted. Via these new listings, key specs and front design of the upcoming device have been revealed as well.
Here’s more about it.
Vivo Y31 5G (V2521) – Google Play Console Listing
The upcoming Vivo Y31 5G smartphone carries the model number of ‘V2521’, and its 6GB RAM variant has been listed on the Google Play Console database. Specs such as Android 15 operating system, 2.20 GHz-clocked Qualcomm Snapdragon processor (2x Cortex A78 cores clocked at 2.20 GHz + 6x Cortex A55 cores clocked at 1.95 GHz), Adreno 613 GPU, and 720 x 1608 pixels resolution display with 300 DPI screen density have been revealed for the device.
A front design render of Vivo’s Y31 5G smartphone has also been listed on the Google Play Console database, and it is pointed out to equip a flat display screen featuring a centrally-placed punch-hole selfie camera and thin bezels (three sides), along with a thicker chin at the bottom. To add, its volume rockers and power button are given at the right side panel.
Vivo Y31 5G (V2521) – Geekbench Listing
Coming to the Geekbench listing, the Vivo Y31 5G has achieved 901 points and 1799 points respectively on the single-core and multi-core tests. Speaking more, the Geekbench database reveals the existence of a 4GB RAM variant too for the upcoming device, in addition to the Android 15 operating system and Adreno 613 GPU. Looking at its Qualcomm Snapdragon chip, unlike the details listed on Google Play Console, two of its cores are clocked at 2.21 GHz, and the other six cores at 1.96 GHz.
While the chip details mentioned on the Google Play Console database point directly to Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 chip, the Geekbench listing suggests that a new version of the Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 chip can be expected with slightly higher frequency cores. Notably, a previous update from the tipster Paras Guglani (@passionategeekz) had stated that the Geekbench listing of the Vivo Y31 5G reveals the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 chip for the device, however this now appears to be wrong.
Stay tuned for more updates.
