Vivo Y31 5G Revealed to Feature a 50MP Primary Shooter, 8MP Selfie Camera, 6500 mAh Battery, IP68/69 Rating, and More; To Start at INR 14,999 With Two Storage Options and Two Color Choices

Following its recent listing both on the Google Play Console and Geekbench databases, the Vivo Y31 5G smartphone is being expected to soon break its cover and ahead of it, the key specs, storage options, color choices, and pricing details in the Indian market have been revealed. Also to note, while the device shows certain similarities with the upcoming Y21d smartphone, it is not an entirely re-branded version.

Vivo’s Y31 5G is going to feature the same design as that of the Y21d, notably with an overall flat form factor, pill-shaped vertically-placed rear camera module housing two camera sensors and a ring LED light (dynamic notification light), along with a display sporting thin bezels (on three sides), thicker chin, and a punch-hole centrally-placed selfie camera. It will also have an IP68/69-rated protection and is going to pack a 6500 mAh battery similar to the Vivo Y21d device. Furthermore, at the rear, a 50MP HD main camera is given and for selfies, an 8MP HD portrait front-facing camera is there. Smart AI features are also part of the device, and its users will be offered AI Erase and Circle to Search capabilities.
Coming to the pricing and availability details, as mentioned, Indian customers can expected 4GB/128GB and 6GB/128GB storage options for the Vivo Y31 5G, and these variants are tipped to carry respective price tags of INR 14,999 and INR 16,499. Just like Vivo’s Y21d, the Y31 5G is also pointed out to offer Purple and Green color choices as well.
As per the details revealed via Google Play Console and Geekbench, the Vivo Y31 5G (unlike the Y21d) is revealed to use a new version of the Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 chip with higher frequency cores. Other specs include the Adreno 613 GPU, Android 15 OS, and HD+ display (720 x 1608 pixels resolution; 300 DPI screen density).
